If the sausages are cumberland (or something similar), remove the meat from the skins and fry with garlic.
Add tin chopped toms and simmer for about 15mins then season.
Cook some pasta and pour over the meat sauce - stir in some rocket/spinach until it begins to wilt - serve with grated parmesan.
I tried this once and it wasn't too bad (a bit sickly though, not something I'd want to eat on a regular basis!).0 -
Hey there Poppie,
Well I'm doing home-made hot dogs for tea, with lovely fried onions & mustard or corn relish or tomato sauce. Gonna serve with corn-on-the-cob dripping with butter delicious!!!!
If this is too obvious you should cook and chop up the sausages and add as a pizza topping or add to a tomato pasta sauce(?)
Oh or even get a baked potato, slice halfway down add sausage & top with beans and cheese(?)
Good luck0 -

Pasta and meatballs?
Squeeze the sausages out of thier skins, roll into little balls and chuck in a caserole dish with tinned toms, an onion, dried mixed herbs and courgettes (if you have them).
Serve on a bed of spagetti or any other pasta shape.
Funny I have sausages tonight and no spuds so was just wondering what to do with them - just answered my own query! lol[size=-2]Remember its nice to be nice and its good to share!

Cut sausages into chunks and fry with a chopped onion. When the sausage and onions are cooked add a tin of chopped tomatoes and a teaspoon of chilli powder. Cook for about 10 minutes. While this is cooking cook some pasta I use penne, but just use any you like. When its cooked stir it into the sausages. I usually stir in some basil leaves if I have any. very quick and easy.0
