hi,
has anyone considered the npower sign online version 19?0 -
I have just got the dreaded letter too and I am on "CONline Tariff Version 5"
I remember when I took the product out that there was a small cancellation fee but my question is....if they are removing the product surely they can't charge me a fee for leaving them...when this is through no fault of my own?
Also when I turned over I was hoping it listed the old prices too but it doesn't which is really misleading!
Thanks
No you wont get charged if you leave after the end date of the product which is august (it takes 6 to 8 weeks to change tho)

If you're on 'Online 5' there is no cancellation charge, if you're on 'Online Saver 5' there is. All perfectly simple and designed not to confuse.

I'm really confused!! I'm on EDF's Online V5 tariff, I signed up in Nov 2009. I haven't had a letter saying my tariff is ending, I've called twice and been given conflicting info! Any ideas? Is my tariff ending at the end of July or not? If it is ending and I transfer to online v6 will they transfer my credits on my accounts or will i get the money refunded and start again?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks v much!

Yes, the up to £145 cancellation charge makes it very attractive.
Where have you found this out please? All I have seen is the
'If before 30th September 2011 you change your supplier or tariff for electricity or gas, or both, to which your Sign Online 19 Agreement applies, you agree to pay a termination fee of £20 in respect of each such fuel.'

get it now. its cos I won't have the year with them for the direct debit discounts.0

I just got the letter today telling me I would be switched from Online V5 from 1 August. I contacted them and was offered the Online Saver v6 but I am put off by the £50 penalty if I leave before June 2011. Don't know what to do now. I'm a bit worried that they can increase the prices as much as they like and I won't be able to switch without paying the penalty.0

I got the letter today and did a comparison and find that EON save me a whole £6 a year against the EDF V6. I wouldn't have bothered moving if EDF had offered the V6 straight away but I really didn't like the letter. So have moved to EON and get £55 cashback through Quidco"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."
