OK just read the other thread. Will be asking for the 60 days tomorrow.

Mmm well I seem to be having a bit of a fight getting it.

Ah, but are you on Online S@ver Version 5 or the Energy Online Tariff Version 5? They are only obligated to offer it to you with the former.

I also am having difficulty in getting a 60 day extension my contract so I can change to new suppiers without penalty. I am informed that I signed to be transferred to their Standard tariff on 31.7.10 and no such extension is available.
So is it any use me making a formal complaint to EDF or did I sign up to be transferred at the end of my contract and no 60 day extension is available? Would Ofgem overrule this as being unfair?
I was on online Tariff Version

Yes didn't get anywhere either. On Online Saver 5 and was informed I was told at the beginning when it would end and that I could make a complaint if I liked. Said I was leaving but there was clearly no budging on it.

Seems they have been told to not offer an extension.

Oh well never mind, don't forget to input the gas and electricity readings today or tomorrow.
I don't know how EDF calculates the new rates otherwise. I would bet its a guess in their favour !

Quick update - I have been really impressed at how well switching has gone. EDF and Scottish Power have both played their part. Maybe one day I will have reason to switch back to EDF. (Just need £200 refund now but sure I will get it soon).
