Eric, don't beat yourself up too much. Don't you think that's why we are failing when it comes to losing weight? That when we do have a bad week or too many slip ups, we beat ourselves up way too much about it?
im ok
people are really starting to notice it now, even those at work who ignore me
onwards and upwards, ill keep nibbling away at it
hopefully ill get my heart fixed next month and that will allow me to train properly :j0 -

Eric you are just AWESOME.
Victory --- look at your signature - you've lost an enormous amount. Putting on 11lbs is nothing compared to your overall loss. You WILL take it off again. You ARE always going to be slim. Don't get rid of your clothes - you'll need them again soon.0 -
Shell and Kat and anyone else I might have missed out - congratulations on this week's lossGot a full refund off ebayPlease help on the jelly quest:D
I discovered "tesco value salad cheese" today. Tastes a bit like feta but made with cows milk and with fewer calories than all the other hard or semi soft cheeses. Calorie wise its fairly similar per 100g to chunky chicken and tuna, so I now have an alternative to add to my salads, although its fairly high in salt. only 77p for 200g, its a bargain as well. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=2500644080 -

ok for the nerds out there 140lbs equates to 996 big macs :eek:0 -
Well pretty much just by following a strict WW regime I have lost an inch from my waist and hips, hopefully that will equate to a decent weight loss. Now to reintroduce exercise.0

gs I gave the clothes away to the NSPCC and to the blind, they were cheap as chips from the car boot sale, can't pull them on and do them up, fed up with trying and breathing in, decided for once I would no longer struggle to make out they fitted and would walk around in clothes I could breathe in so got rid of them to a good cause, kept the ones that fitted (very few!) was going to do a Gok Wan wardrobe where you have little but it all looks lovely and interchanges with everything.
My eldest with his banana packing money has just that, he bought himself some tops and shorts/trousers and I must say in Spain he looked very handsome, clean, tidy, smart everytime he went out.
Car boot sale clothes are fab, cheap and great to have but i end up with a mish mash of stuff that really does not go with anything else and certainly often does not look good, it just is.
I got upset the other day and fed up that the loss of weight does not represent the clothes and got rid of the lot of them, I feel I am doing myself an injustice by constantly looking alright with whatever is in the wardrobe.
I can't suffer anymore the 'oh this fits, yeah wear it' what do you mean orange doesn't go with purple?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
i have very little left but will go to the shops and add slowly to the wardrobe with well chosen pieces as Gok keeps saying, oh what it is to have the money to do it with! It is my birthday in 2 weeks and a def on the list is clothes.:D
I did the same with the youngest clothes, his waist is a lot bigger than it was, before Spain 5 pairs of trousers did not come with us and now after there are more that he cannot fit around waist so we took him shopping, fortunately he has an eldest brother that I kept a whole load of stuff and now slowly his brother fits into them so that saved me a lot of money.0 -
Good morning
Well, we went out last night and I ended up with two glasses of wine (lovely) and a pizza express (never worth the cals, but still nice)
Today I'm cooking at home so that will be better, diet-wise. We're moving in a few weeks so doing a lot of eating out as we're going to miss all our local restaurants, pubs etc. think i'm going to do spicy chicken and rice.
not v hopeful for a loss tomorrow morning, but if I stick with the plan then who knows]
well done on your loss (inch-wise) vixstarBetty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Please put down for this week: 74.2 kg this morning. That's 11 st 9 1/2 lbs.
A loss of 0.6 kg since last week's recording, that's 1 1/4 lbs.
I seemed to be stuck in the 75s for ever. I couldn't believe it when I got on the scales this morning!! I don't know when I last weighed that. 20+ years ago probably. I know I weighed 11 stone when I worked in Saudi in 1989, was warned about it then but did nothing about it, then later I went up to almost 13 stone e.g. in the late 1990s/early 2000s.
It just shows it can be done. I don't eat biscuits, sweets, ice-cream or chips. I don't need them and we eat well, DH and me. We don't have junk food or take-aways. I don't really drink much any more - when we go out I normally ask for sparkling water with ice and lemon.
