Victory - I joined the LW thread when you had just reached target back in 2007 - you were so proud of yourself, so elated, and you have done a fine job of keeping it off (unlike some of the rest of us). You CAN shed that relatively small gain (and you know some of it is temporary holiday gain anyway) and you can prove your family wrong with all their whispers (if they do). You will not give in!!! For some of us, you are our inspiration (even if we are quiet about it!).

i agree with efrieze, victory you know you can do it.

puddings, thanks for the advice, I know you're right and I didn't go totally overboard but still didnt have a great weekend. the party on sat meant i had some chinese and some choc cake, and sunday is always hard for me as OH insists on buying choc and sweets when we are cleaning the house.
but i did get a fair bit of exercise so hopefully not too much damage done.

yet again i feel like i'm 'starting again' tomorrow - feel like i'm setting myself up to fail every week at the moment.

feels like one side of my brain says 'be good and eat sensibly' the other half says 'ignore her and eat some chocolate!' grr:mad:

We are all the same, think about things we shouldn't eat and depending on the day or state of mind we're in we fight it for another day or give in.

Sometimes you have to go with the flow.

I have found though that eating a sugar free chewing gum after eating at work (when I'm normally naughty) after eating stops me eating chocolate later in the day. Not sure why that is and I'm not normally a gum person - I'm still sure it's not good for me (Eric can you help on that one) and I don't really like it.

I've also got some nut and dried fruit mixes from Julian Graves to have mid morning and mid afternoon which has also helped because even though I have fruit on my desk - I just can't eat it (ok I know I'm just weird).

Have to try to get cracking on my exercise as I know that will help me so much with losing weight but have so little time. And there's a guy at work who's started a slim fast diet and I can't let him lose loads of weight on that and not me by eating sensibly:rotfl:
