Beanie, I thought of that, but honestly just wish they would get rid of me now. I despise it so much. I am starting to feel resentful to everyone in the place. I can actually feel depression starting to set in and don't want to go down that road again. Will see what doc says in morning and hopefully will have a couple of weeks off on sick4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

I have not been feeling the greatest today ........ late night's do not agree with me and no alcohol was involved. Then on top I still feel a little confused why my post did not appear last night....... as I know I weighed in then posted and updated my body log on food focus all before going out kayaking. My signature changed but I think the only thing is I hit preview instead of submit.
Mazza - I hope you get to see a GP tomorrow, I suffer with my right knee from an old injury so know how uncomfortable and painful knee's can be. Like you walking on it makes it worse especially when steps are involved and only rest and ice packs seem to help. Also STEP AWAY FROM THE SWEETIES
Hezza - Well done on the glossing, it is the 1 part of decorating I hate. Hope your neck feels better after the heat pad.
Puddings - You had a slip .... don't beat yourself up too bad, and tomorrow is another day. You now also know what triggers you so you can keep yourself out of the situations in futureAlso keep up with the funny pictures they always make me smile
Victory - I'm glad your having a better time now. Hope your computer is fixed for your return
BettyB - I agree with you about SATC she is too skinny but has amazing confidence ...... don't cry about your jean's they really are not worth it
Brightonbelle - hope your feeling better soonRestarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Can you put me back on the chart and a 1lb loss this week please...... I felt really upset not seeing my name on there
Only just got back in from a long evening. But I am sure the exercise was worth it.
Well done Eric on being SOTW
Will update the chart for next week for your loss - I'm sorry the forum played up too.
Well done on the exercise too.0 -
oh mazza you poor thing - your (non)boss sounds like a right a$$. Good job you have a union rep to talk to - perhaps have a word with them about it all? perhaps a stern word from the union will make your boss realise that other people are aware of what is going on and confirm that it is not acceptable. a lot of the time people like that are just doing what they do cos they think they can get away with it. hope it works out (*hugs*) I know how it feels, and bullying bosses seem to be in no short supply at the moment by the sounds of things!
I often consider being a postie and toy with the idea regularly. do you need to be able to drive to be a postie??
Oh puddings.... welcome to your first hurdle!! trust me it happens to us all!!!! Listen to these guys and gals on this forum, they are the experts. They / we, and you, know that this is not a big disaster. it just feels like one right now. in the long term, the occasional slip up is no big deal. the important things are.....
(1) you did not (and will not) buy the cake yourself. (Therefore at least the calories were free!:money:) and you are not to blame for its presence in your home
(2) you feel silly now, which is good as the next time you are faced with a similar situation, you will make your friend take the cake home with her, for example.
(3) it was your first slip up and it happens. the worst thing you can do now though is let it defeat you.
Also, remember that what you are embarking on is a lifelong plan, so a few slip ups here and there are to be expected. The thing to learn is how to deal with the aftermath. Jump right back on the wagon tomorrow morning and be proud that you didn't let one slip up ruin your week/month.

Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -
For nearly a month, I've planned every single thing that has passed my lips, with hardly a waiver. Today one unexpected thing happens and I deal with it like that. Am beginning to wonder if im just not right in the head.
Dont beat yourself up about it, its done, you failed temptation this week and you did not get immunity
Does not mean you have to stop your journey because of one mistake.
I would suggest that you make it very clear to all your friends and family what you are doing and that they are not to offer you bad things, offer to give them a little tickle with your fists if they doAnyone who does this after your chat is an enabler (or stupid) - avoid them. Telling everyone also means you have to truthfully come to terms and accept what your doing, no more hiding behind the comedy
I feel (and could be barking up the wrong tree here) that there is still something emotionally bothering you to make you want to loose control so badly0 -

I enjoyed it for a while betty. But tbh it can be mind numbingly boring. The management are the same throughout RM from what I read on other forums. I guess I've been lucky that we've had a not too bad manager in our office up til nowDriving is not essential but it helps, especially as they are going to bring park and loop into the equation (2 people doing 2 walks sharing a van which doesn't seem to work) I wouldn't recommend it unless you are 1) young 2) fit 3) not overweight 4) don't have any occasional twinges in joints, knees, ankles and shoulders.
You would be walking up to 8 miles a day, in all weathers (remember that snow last year!) with up to 16kg on your back. Oh and if you want to work full time, then I would say don't go for it.
On the brighter side (yes there is one despite my whining:)) The money isn't bad for a manual job. The bonus scheme isn't bad. You get to meet all sorts of people, dunno if that's a good point of bad point really :rotfl:
I've only been there 3-4 yrs and my knee is shot already. So I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Might be good for a strong fit man, but tbh I don't feel it's women's work, or maybe I'm just too old for it4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

It's very interesting to hear your perspective on it, thanks. I wouldn't like to have to drive. All I really crave is a physical/manual part time job that will supplement my current job (sitting at a desk all day!) which i can do part time too. I like moving around and I hate sitting still! maybe i'll look into it but i'll definately bear in mind what you say about aching joints, and dodgy managers, etc.
Feeling good today, forgiven myself for last night's wine. got my SW plan sorted for the day and feel like if I can stick to it today then I can stick to it for a week, then a month, then be thin by xmas / my next birthday. Long term goal but hopefully one that will keep me on track.
happy friday everyone!!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Puddings - The way to look at it is to take the positive from having the binge - its happened - at least you are annoyed and dont want it to happen again.0

puds it happens to us all, it is not worth the guilt, the fury, all you can do is learn from it, put it down as a mistake, look at it from a step away, hope that you will not do it again and be stronger from it, take care of you, you know you are better, you know you can do it:D0
