  • I'm a 1lb gain this week from the 3lbs loss I posted too late last week.

Not too bad, just got to keep going. Think next week might be bad as I've not managed to fit in any exercise yet but hopefully will do at the weekend.

i half agree with Eric about the balance thing--when i started the gym and did my stretch exercises i had to hold onto the bar for assistance while balancing on 1 leg--now i can do it without even thinking about 'grabbing'--maybe the centre ear re-asserts itself!

Yes, this is possiby so for those without a serious disability.Or maybe you have just developed better control over your muscles as you got fitter?

Stunning loss eric, and puds - just keep those 4lber's coming.

    Hello everyone,

Sorry I've not been posting of late. Life has been dragging me in other directions. I forgot to weigh in this morning, and I forgot to post last week, even though I did weigh in, so I'm going to report a STS to keep it fair.

I can't believe the weeks are passing by so fast. I've had my eldest son wanting to leave his college course, then trying to find him an alternative course at an alternative college to sort out last week. Having just had my 12 y/o move from one school, up to the Grammar school with a week's notice to get him uniform, and get his head around the move, it's been one very busy first term back!

Last week I wasn't very well, I had a bad water infection, which really took a hold of me, and the anti-biotics are really kicking in now and making me feel more like my old self. This time last week I was feeling very grim. I don't know if it was related, but feeling ill really put me on a carb-fest. I spoke to my best friend who has recently had pneumonia, and she said she had the same thing when feeling very low. Strange how the body reacts.

At the moment I'm in full prepare for Christmas mode. I've just made the pudding, and the cake, which are now stored away. This week I'm making gift boxes for homemade goodies, and fabric covered notebooks & diaries. At least while I'm busy I don't think about eating. It's cold today, but I may try to get out for a bike ride this afternoon.

Well done on the losses guys, fantastic results coming in, and Wow! to Eric, Puds and Victory.

Granny - I've had labyrinthitis a few times. The worst was 2 weeks after giving birth, and I was 100% breastfeeding, and my husband was working away. I couldn't even get off the bed. Luckily my GP did a home visit and gave me an injection (in the buttocks!) which prevented the sickness, and I did feel much better. It's a horrible thing to have. I hope you feel better soon. It's been a bit of a year for you one way or another, hasn't it? Take care.

Alliwant and Fellpony - thinking of you both often, even if I'm not posting on here as much. xx

Still going here, which I'm really surprised at. I thought I'd be back on the curries and chocolate within a day! I've even switched to wholemeal bread (I adore white bread but wholemeal is so much better for you). I used my wiifit and did a weigh in yesterday. I'm exactly the same as I was when I started dieting before 112kg or 17.5stone. onwards and upwards. I'm hoping to see at least a stone off by Christmas and will be well chuffed if I can get down to 16stone.
If anyone is wondering why I work in kilos rather than lbs its because I tend to self sabotage if I work in lbs (ooh it wont hurt if I.... etc) whereas with kilos its not native to me so I have to work it out and usually thats enough for the idea to have passed.

  • Some really, really fab losses this week!!! Well done chaps! :D

I will be weighing in at 7ish at SW. I'm not overly confident. I have been good this week, it's just that time again, if you know what I mean, and I feel about a million stone! I haven't resorted to a jumbo family sized bar of Galaxy yet though!!
