starting point for me-73,3kgs--11,5 stone--i came back off holiday on the 5th august at just a lb under 12 stone(76kgs)-so i have lost 7lbs just by reverting to my normal diet and with a small sacrifice of hardly any alcohol--which makes me a nicer person according to my wife!!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0

Congratualtions to all the losses, everyone is doing so so well :T
For me it's another -2lb surprising after another bad weekend where I had KFC (which wasn't worth it) and everything as I was away in London.0 -
Ive been to the GYYYYYM. Worked quite hard for me aswell. Bit headachey now
Mazza: What did i say then? Yorkshire is northern but its the only nice place in northern that ive been to. (the only place actually!) Minus coventry and birmingham...and the lake district. That was alright. (i was four though)
Im in a really happy moodI have been for a while now. Not sure if its not being at work or just being single.

i have come to realise the gym actually makes me feel happier after i have made the effort to get there--must keep telling myself to go regularly--i feel less hungry too and had a very light lunch of 300 calories and feel very nourished. must be all those 'endophins' swimming in my brainmfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0

Have to agree, once your balance is put out by something thats it! I doubt practising balance would help in any way. If anything did work surely it would just be the muscles helping you to balance better?0

You cannot learn balance from standing on one leg.Fact.
maybe not if you have suffered some damage etc
but you can certainly improve your balance quite substantially by practising balancing techniques, mums been doing it 3 times a day for 6 months and its helped a lot with her lab, not cured it but a noticeable improvement
in the same way that if you repeat a task a lot over a period of time (say throwing a dart) the brain increases the amount of neural pathways associated with that task substantially (it can add 10s of millions more), you literally do get better with practise, and finally balance control comes from the brain0 -
Eric~We will have to agree to disagree.
