Betty - How did you get on with Davina ??

I have just started the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred  I am hoping it will sort out my fitness a bit more and give me some focus. My body is complaining but I need to do some different exercise now.

Thank you my best advice is to take baby steps, don't look at the big picture set yourself small goal's and stick to them.
Don't aim too loose too much too soon, you didn't get big over night so it won't come off over night :D But the people on here have been so supportive and given me help when I have needed it.
Write everything you eat down, keep a food diary that way you can log everything you put in and see where you might be falling down.

Finally I have the advice sheet/notes victory wrote that has been linked on the front page of this thread in my food diary and when ever I need help or feel like I am loosing my way I re-read them and I seem to find my way back on track :D

It would have been my five year anniversary with matt today. Im glad we spent some time together...it didnt feel weird. Although on the way home the radio played the song that first started things off for matt and i when i used to borrow his cd player and listen to his lost prophets album back in 6th form!! Quite symbolic that he was taking me back home on our "anniversary" listening to that song.

I really dont want to weigh in :( I never do. I want max results from min effort. One gym session isnt going to change my world yet every time i hope it does!!

Wack me down for a sts Im sure thats what i'll be unless things go badly when i get dressed for bed tonight.

Im in a really happy mood :D I have been for a while now. Not sure if its not being at work or just being single.
Whatever the reason I'm SO pleased you're feeling a little bit more your usual self

Eric -- Have you had a part of your body surgically removed? That is a great loss.

STS for me please Fred. I'm not really happy about it as I'm still avoiding wheat, flour and sugar and so think I deserve to lose!

I agree with BB - generally people can learn to balance better - for example when you learn to ride a bike - but if you have particular issues it's a totally different matter. When I'm having a mild go of labyrinthitis I can try very hard to convince my eyes, ears and proprioceptors to work together, but when it's full on I really can't even move my eyes without feeling/being sick.
  • Delighted to report a 2lb loss this week. I am hoping I am back on track now and am going to continue to lose week on week now!! Erm now where is the gaffer tape for my mouth!!

Well done to all the losers, there are some amazing losses this week.
You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.

Congrats to Eric for a well deserved SoTW.

Well done to all the losers and STSers - there were some fab losses.

Commiserations to the gainers too - keep plodding next week is a new path to tread and you can make it what you want.

This week saw the end of the North v South battle - the winner of the inaugral 4 week battle is Southern Stunner.

If anyone wants to have a round 2 please post below and we can have 2 teams again starting from next week.
