Here's this weeks chart:
Congratulations to our SoTW Fellpony.
Congratulations also to our losers and stsers and commiserations to the gainers - tomorrow is the start of a new week - so grab hold of your motivation and make a difference.
Well done to the Buckfast Beauties - this weeks winners, it's a close thing so next week will be all important. So far Buckfast Beauties are in the total lead over the last 3 weeks.
This weeks quote comes from Lee Iacocca:
"You've got to say, I think that if I keep working at this and want it badly enough I can have it. It's called perseverance."0 -
Victory I can only echo what others have said to you.
I'm not removing you from the chart or the inbetweeners. I didn't for Granny or Fellpony - I'm stubborn see and don't give up on good people because they're having a bad patch.
Have a break from us if you need - but you also know that we're here for you when you want to have a moan or a chat or rejoin the chart when your life is more settled.
I will hide your row if you don't post a result - but you will be there.0 -
I'm an idiot, I thought today was Wednesday which is why I hadnt posted my weigh-in! What a numpty!
It was a 3lbs loss which I'm pleased with given I had a massive takeaway pizza at the weekend. Clearly my doing exercise is making a difference.
Signed up to go to a class next week which is called Big Girls Fitness and is meant for people with large BMIs. Should be interesting!0 -
thanks for the chart Fred.
Funnely - i guess that is a girls only class then, tut, typical!
Well done to all of this weeks losers :-)
Romylou - you ain't let nobody down , we all have strange weeks like that. What's your plan for the holiday - are you going for the sensible eating approach - or the "stuff-it-im-on-holiday" approach?
I'm a bit lacking in motivation at the moment, think i need either a big carrot or a big stick... and as i dont like carrot, well it looks like im left with getting the big stick again :-(0 -
Thanks for the chart Fredsnail.
Puddings, you're not the only one with motivational issues, my hubby has been told by the docs he needs to increase his calorie intake, which he is taking to mean "eat everything and anything" I cringe when I see him sat eating DD's sweets, he has forgotten to be supportive and was therefore shocked when I took the sweets off him last night and put them in the bin. Whoops!
I slept really badly last night, horrific nightmares about dogs, chasing us as a family. Bizzarre.
I am struggling to stay focused today, I haven't the energy to go for my usual power (Fellpony power, not mad lady power) walk round the block which having just measured it is 2.28 miles, go as fast as I can walk and maintain, plus I am usually pushing DD in her buggy, DD weighs 19.5 kilos without the buggy!! I am managing to keep out of the kitchen at the mo though, mainly because the sliding door is broken and now I have got it shut I can't open the chuffing thing again!!
I actually feel more like going for a walk having written that I have no energy, perhaps I will, after all the nice weather isn't going to last forever now is it!!??You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -
Oh dear Fellpony what a horrible dream! well done on your loss
Hope you feel back to 100% again soon.
I had an odd dream last night that i suddenly had a baby but had no idea how to look after it and had to keep it in a box by the side of my bed! It was v cute tho. Maybe it's cos my friends are having babies.
well done everyone else on your amazing losses (come on Southern Stunners, one more week left to take the lead!!)
and thanks Fred for the chart.
Was meant to swim this morning but slept in. Have no appetite today either. Maybe i'm coming down with something. Have got loads of work on at the mo so might just be stress.
Oh well, what a horrible cold day it is today! I've got a hot pot of tea and a warm jumper on!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -
I seem to be over my gym hiatus - found a love for it again.
Went to a Combat class last night - apart from feeling a bit out of my depth by not knowing the moves and being the only chap there it wasnt bad.
Then went for a swim before work this morning - so feel dead relaxed.
Planning on trying a boxercise class tonight.0
