No it was fine at work today Victory, thanks for asking.. He even showed me how to do something that I wasn't trained to do but expected to do. And was very professional about it too. So was a very pleasant day, with a little learning involved too. All in all a good day.

So glad I didn't offend you Eric. I know what I want to say most of the time, but it comes out soooooooooooo wrong.

Good losses coming in this week, I had a sneaky peek at the scales this morn and it's not looking good I'm afraid. I didn't mean to, got my days mixed up with me working Monday this week, totally confused me and I thought today was Wednesday :rotfl:So there's still time for a bit of fluctuation and pray for an STS lol

Glad you've had a good day Mazza

Well, my dress arrived today. My goodness it is lovely. :happyhear
And it looks OK on, but I am still a bit lumpy and bumpy for that kind of material, so I am now 110% committed to losing half a stone at least by mid December and hitting the gym as much as poss to lose my unsightly muffin top and saddle bags.

I am not taking the dress back, so I have to succeed. It is going to hang on the front of my wardrobe and I will look at it every day and remind myself that looking and feeling good is a much better reward than sweets or chocolate!!

    Its Now or Never!!!!!

  • (((Victory))) - sending hugs.

    Betty, loooove the dress!! :D

Sweetie and neilersmc, well done on the losses!! :D

Sorry I haven't posted since last Wednesday. We have been having terrible trouble with our broadband. You wouldn't have wanted to hear my language!! What did we do before the internet??!

So, last time I posted I was trying to decide whether to go and join Slimming World that evening. I did. I got my books and had a good time! It says something when your "social life highlight of the week" (I just sang that in my head, like on Harry Hill!) is weigh in at SW!! And my weight there was the same as at home, which makes it easier.
I was going to just get the books and do it myself at home, but I know how weak I am!! I will go tomorrow and see if I've lost anything. (I must say I have followed the plan, haven't cheated at all, used all my 'syns' on wine!) I have eaten loads this week, but no biscuits, chocolate or crisps, and not much bread. Weigh in is 7pm-8.30pm tomorrow evening. (is that ok, time-wise? Not too late for weighing in here, is it?)

Hope everyone is having a good week, or at least a bearable one. xx

  • Hi Betty :)

I think you have to join to get the books, but you can turn up, join - (it's half price membership at the moment, so £5 membership and 4.95 weekly fee=£9.95 but you get your joining pack which has the books) Then you don't have to go back again. So it depends if you think it's worth nearly a tenner.

Well its official BMI does not work for me :D

I have been bodpod'd so i know exactly my %body fat / lean muscle

My goal weight with a healthy 20% body fat is 18 stone exactly  This makes me obese on the stupid BMI chart :rotfl:

I have also shrunk an inch, spines probably compressed from all the weight .....

I also got to strip off down to my knickers in front of a strange woman, poor lass

as a side note the omron scales are 4.4% out which is not bad.
