Yes can claim U/D one year and 10 days I have been there so from the bosses point of view have now become a nightmare as I have more rights that last week, ACAS were brilliant on the phone this morning and could not have been kinder, they say yes to CAB, call back if needs be, write to the personnel department, we don't have a trade union and all the steps I need to take but ultimately I loose my job because no one would want to work with me as a trouble maker I would be marked and the atmosphere would be poison so I loose loose and they win win by getting rid of me.

No, OH refuses to go he says it is mumbo jumbo leftie rubbish, he listens to what I have been told etc but will not attend it is now called relate, they give me tasks, 1st assesment was level of mental state as the lady is associated with the hospital for suicide patients, once that is done and the level is not high as mine is not, then tasks, 1st lot was all writing, positives, negs, the good the bad what the future could be what the past was, my character, his , the kids abilities just chitter chatter delving into the family workings.

The next one is 3- 3 positives, 3 negs turn them into pos, 3 fears confront, 3 past things ideas etc that made me happy repeat, bring them back into the relationship, looking at things from a different angle, not all the time as we do about money, kids, life, paying the mortgage just coming to it from a different way.

Works, hard, intense, trying but the absolute strangest thing that has come out of all this, the most bizzare thing to happen is that even though I said I want out as the feelings are not there I feel bereft that I have lost the one thing of value- my best friend and that was always my husband.

it sounds like you are taking control of many things

Oh Eric hon, I didn't mean that in a bad sense at all. I don't know how to put things without offending further... Eek that wasn't my intention, you've don't need me to tell you how remarkable you're doing.. I just meant all the stats kinda scared me a bit. Or the totally natural thing scared me too. I really wish I had the £/Time to do it that way. Alas with the warped hours I work, I try to eat/feed the kids as healthily as I can on the income and time I have. I felt quite inadequate as a parent seeing what you were doing. Please don't take offence at it.

Victory - you go girl!!! Take the bull by the horns and deal with it!!! WTG you. OH's can be pretty stubborn when it comes to counseling etc, especially as many of the opposite sex don't wear their hearts on their sleeves as much as we do.

Not looking forward to work tomorrow myself, my own manager has a meeting in the city at 10ish, so I'll be stuck in office with the other one until 1pm. Doing a job atm where I have to communicate with him on a one to one basis. So hard being pleasant when all u want to do is punch him one on the chin (how ladylike but that's the least of what I would like to do to him:rotfl:)

Oh Victory - you've been through so much over the last couple of years and you've stayed so strong and positive. No wonder you're having a wobble now.

Don't ever apologise for 'trivial twaddle'. What you write isn't trivial or twaddle - it's from the heart as always.

Keep talking to us Victory if it helps in any way at all. We've been chatting on this forum for such a long time and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks of a you as a friend. Friends are for bad times as well as for the good bits. We'd all miss you so much.

Don't get het up about the weight - do what you need to do for your health and take whatever support is offered from counsellors, ACAS, CAB and so on. You deserve it. Love and hugs.
