Some great losses everyone. Well done.
1lb gain for me - I think I just weighed heavy if you know what I mean. Usually I don't eat much the night before WI but last night DH insisted we pop out for sushi. Hopefully the 1lb will come off next week and more. I think I am not kidding myself!0 -
Oh, totally forgot to mention my result this week, probably because it's so bad!
+2lb gain for me this week fred. Totally bummed out by that, because it means I've gained almost 2 stone in the past 18 months. I'm totally disgusted with myself. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Just a quick stop by for me to say I have STS Please Fred
I have had a fews days doing lots of exercise and not much foodwise so not sure if that is the cause?
Will catch up more when I get 5 mins to read everyone's post's ........ Off fishing now in the rain ( I must be nuts!!!)Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed
Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far0 -
sary wrote a long post to you then lost it so to condense, hugs;)
I have been accepted:j:j:j the weekly injections are £115 each for the arthritis so you have to be very bad for them even to consider you, I did a little white lie, they asked me on a scale of 1-10 what was it today and I said 8 ( would you believe it was quite bereable today but as OH says typical when you don't want it to be while at the docs:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) so I got approved, 1st injection 25th August and I am :j:j:j one more visit then I administer them myself:D
My clumsy son caught my finger in the car door and it has balloned to the size of sausage and throbs like mad:D
STS FOR ME THIS WEEK THANK YOU
Great losses coming in yeah we rock:T:T:T:T

Great new Victory - I hope the injections help you
Sary - I can't say anything to make it better, but big big hugs :grouphug:
Made my own fat free frozen yog today. One with strawberries and some splenda to get the edge off, and one chocolatey one with half a packet of highlights. Fingers crossed they are yummy and I can have fat free dessert every day and play with new flavours!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....
Why Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today? :A0 -

1lb on please fred thanks. And I am not signing up for the 5lb challenge as it will have not effect on me at all:o BUt very happy to go along with what ever helps the majority.
Hezza - I'd forgotten you had signed up online for SW. And I wouldn't see it a 'cheating', just eating off plan through necessity. The more you plan ahead with SW the easier it becomes. trying to rustle up ideas when you are hungry and need to eat NOW and keep the family happy as well is too difficult (not that Ikknow you have been doing this). Try and give your self a month to be fully on board with the concept sand planning. Write down what you ate on days you know you got it write so you can easliy repeat them in the future. That way you build up a repetoire of good meals/snacks combo.
New scales will be a good idea, as would measuring yourself as per betty's suggestion - it's all motivating info.
Victory - everything crossed for you re the injections answer being yes. EDIT: just seen your post:j And it isn't necsarrily a white lie Victory - you are in agony some days and incapacitated. Someone else may call half that level of pain and inconvenience an 8.
Finally, i start my new injection meds tomorrow,(self injecting too woohoo:D, but not cortizone) I'm hoping it's a stroll in the park not a roller coaster ride as per last time. ON an MSE note, getting an annual prepayment prescription cert is so worth it.
Sary - well, let's hope that your ds starts learning the realities of life. And yes, it needs to come from someone other than his mum this time.:grouphug:But please have a dodgy hug. Not easy receiving calls form the homeless unit I am sure. Will PM you some engineering apprenticeship info.
Some great results coming in :T:T And beanie - you are doing well - is it a summer/winter thing with you and finding the motivation?I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Hi guys - just wanted to jump on quickly to say that I've spotted Debbie&Andrews 97% pork sausages in Tesco 2 for £4. Pack price is usually £3 each so its quite a saving. They are proper meaty sausages unlike other brands that have just been shown the pig, they are wheat free, gluten free and dairy free - and only 4.5 syns each!;) They don't split, spit or shrink when being cooked so are more feeling than cheaper kinds, you only get 6 in a pack but they are more filling.
I'm grilling some up for our tea as I type!!
BB - wise words, as ever, thank you.
victory - great news about the injections!!:j£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain0 -
sary~I feel your pain on both counts~The weight gain & the DS situation.
The joys of teenage children~not.
Bb~I hope your new medication works a treat for you.
I do tend to loose more in summer as its warmer.
Eat more in winter to try & be warm.
I think that the fact the neurologist has suggested I loose weight has also helped me to be more motivated.
Still a long way to go as like sary I have put on a lot of weight.Gaaahhh.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Well Ladies and Gentlemen
I am going to be bowing out for some time now, the routine scan in Newcastle for DD showed up more cancer, we thought we were free of it. Not so it would seem. In her lungs this time, and treatment is going to be severe.
Gutted is just not a strong enough word. (and the site won't let me swear!)
So keep going everyone, each day is a new one and all that.
(oh I lost 1lb this week!! think I am about to put it back on, sitting here with a Cadbury's bar of plenty staring at me, daring me to open the packet....)
I will pop in and out when I can but life is about to get a whole heap more difficult all round. You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0
