Melvis like the idea of the 'Thin by the time I'm 30 challenge'...hmm maybe should set myself some before i'm thirty challenges; eek that may mean the half marathon I'm considering might have a to do date on it.0

Sary - it is impossible for me to imagine the anguish you are dealing with at the mo. But you have done your absolute best by him, and that includes setting boundaries and expectations for a basic level of fundamental rule keeping not only for his benefit but the whole family. You've got him this far and never given up on him. And he is still communicating. And he has found himself some paid work so you've managed to instil some work ethic into him: no mean feat.
I just hope for you that he keeps communicating.
Is you eldest hoping to go to uni in the autumn? Will leave you with just the two littlies? And great news about number 3:TI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
A question for those considering the 5lb challenge this month or next month.
I'm adding an extra column to the chart for you.
Do you want it to show how many lbs you need to lose to achieve the months 5lb challenge (and a message telling you that you've reached the target when you've lost 5lb in one month), or just the message telling you that you've reached the target.
I'm asking because if you've signed up to the 5lb challenge and are not having a good month I don't know if people would feel more pressured by it being highlighted? Alternatively people may feel motivated by knowing how many lbs left until they reach the target>
I will go with the majority feeling.

I'm guessing there'd be more oggling than chanting going on - though you'd be appreciative of surrounding nature :rotfl:
Sary you've done a great job with your eldest, if he doesn't come back of course you'll miss him, but as you say it's his choice. At some point he'll realise what you've sacrificed and done for him - though it might not be until he has kids of his own.0 -
