its against the law to write a negative reference, they can write a factual one such as late on xx days, xx disciplinary hearings but they cant write lazy smell chav

hezza special K is packed with sugars, as a diabetic never touch them or the so called health bars full of nuts and...sugars:eek: there is so much sugar and a whole heap of unnecessary rubbish in all these marketing ploys to get you to eat healthy but you are not actually doing that, should be much more monitored:D

eat oatibix, made from whole grain oats the lowest GI grain

only 4 ingredients and the sugar and salt are pretty low quantities

Wholegrain Oats (97%), Malted Barley Extract, Sugar, Salt.

NB the little ones have a tonne more sugar for some reason?

hezza you will be pleased to know that for the last 2 hours I have been pounding the keyboard to write a letter to head office, if it comes to that, I feel that the reality of it is slowly sinking in and I am soon to loose my job whether I choose or not, I hope I choose to leave before I get pushed but so far the letter is all hikkidly pickedly but I have had enough for now and will resume another day:D

I am trying to put all the facts and figures into it rather than she said this and he said that and I am a bullied person etc so it will take some work as yet:D

victory - sorry only just picked up this post. Well done you, that miust be theraputic (sp?) for you if nothing else. Try not to put in too much detail and - as othes have said - stick to the facts. If they make you redundant then you may not be entitled to much as you haven't been there very long but they still have to talk you through the rationale and their decision-making process. Keep notes of everything and dont comment unless you are asked to. I still say go to your CAB if you have time. They can be invaluable source of info for you & can let you know what your rights are. (no I dont work for them!)

Well my scales have been playing tricks on me, yesterday it looked like I'd lost 2lbs over the weekend (after not following SW very closely) but this morning, after a day of doing SW to the letter, I've regained it. This is all pants  Need to think about what I'm going to do next :(

I always thought shredded wheat was best - no sugar and actually tastes nice. Just wheat and that's it.

Was my fave when I was calorie counting. Wonder if it's a healthy extra for SW???
(edit - just checked and it is! yay! )

You know the rules about getting on the scales every day :naughty:;)
We all know by now that weight fluctuates so much day to day - that's why we have the once a week rule!
I am so tempted to do the same just to see the extent of the damage done at the weekend but I know it'll feel better to see a loss than a gain - you already feel bad about not following SW properly over the weekend it seems silly to make yourself feel worse by keep getting on the scales. Give yourself some time to adjust :)

shredded wheet has a GI of 67

    oats are around 51

they add sugar but its a tiny amount 1-2g per serving, but it is higher than SW, both have good protien

    im also gluten intolerant :p

I know I know - you sound like my mother! :rotfl:
Its' just that I feel thinner & look a bit less bulgy around the middle so I was looking forward to a loss. Will try again tomorrow - my proper weigh in day. :o

I only do one 'official' weigh in per month (actually it's about every 28 days as I weigh in on day 7 of my monthly you know what), but I check my weight unofficially most mornings, and like BB it doesn't affect my mood.

I see it as educating myself as to what my normal fluctuations are - I know what to expect if I've had a later dinner for example, if I've eaten more carbs which obv causes more water to be stored, or if I've gone for a run in the evening instead of the morning. I like to understand how my body responds to all these things, for me the more in touch with my body I can become, the more success I think I'll have with maintaining long term.

It's taken me 6 months to gain 1.5kg of body fat (meh), so I know if I'm 1kg heavier one morning then it's not because I've gained that much fat overnight! :D

It's worse than that - I sound like my mother!! :rotfl:
If you feel better and think you look slimmer then maybe you should take some measurements and see how they compare in a few more weees/months. 'snot just about weight I guess - we all wanna drop dress sizes too!

That's a good point it is definately educational - however I am not objective enough to have that approach. I know if i get on the scales and see a gain it might well be because I had a large dinner or i'm carrying some extra water weight, but I won't be able to focus on that part I will just immediately feel bad then spend the whole day thinking about it and eating biscuits! Wish I could be a bit more rational sometimes. :o
