Fellpony - so sorry for you news.
Well i graduate tomorrow, my dad and his gf are driving up as we speak. Not looking forward to it, always thought my nan would be alive for it so a bit crap. Also spent the last few weeks crawling up the stairs and on constant painkillers. Hip in agony and limping/walking/holding myself up on every piece of furniture as soon as painkillers wear off. Cant even hold the weight of a bag of shopping, fingers seized up and knees completely gone. Went to the doctors and got 100% yes you have arthritis and bad arthritis at that. Im 21, so annoyed. I will deal with it and not be all woe is me but i cant help thinking its just not fair. Have gained 5lbs and not even eating badly, not a happy bunny.
On the upside, booked a very posh seafood restaurant for lunch tomorrow so that should be good. Right, i need to clean now seeing as this will be the first and only time my dad will ever see my house even tho he owns it and ive lived here over 3 years...!
FRED - count me out for the monthly challenge, not getting anywhere at the minute and feel like i should celebrate every little loss whilst im fighting a losing battle and "failing" to meet the challenge every month will be rubbish. Can i come off of the chart for now please? Will still try to post weigh ins but cant face it right now. Thanks.
Keep going everyone x0 -

The 5lb challenge is optional - I'm not going to be doing it either - just carrying on as normal (I struggle enough most weeks to be STS) so no need to feel you're failing the challenge if you've not opted in for it. It was only for people who want to be motivated in that way - as with BB it won't make any difference to me.
Hopefully it'll become clearer when I post the chart tonight.0 -

+2lb gain for me this week fred. Totally bummed out by that, because it means I've gained almost 2 stone in the past 18 months. I'm totally disgusted with myself.
Me too - and with nothing like your traumas to excuse it. You're doing so well with your boys Sary - even your wanderer has the right attitude about finding work. I hope life settles down a bit for you soon.0 -
Fellpony - I'm sending hugs and good wishes for you and all your family, and especially your DD.0

dmv - no it isn't fair:( I find it unreasonable enough at 40 something on top of other horrid conditions I have to out up with, so 21 is entirely and utterly pants quite frankly. And I wish I could take it away from you.
The injection meds I start on tomorrow have had some excellent results for arthritis so maybe they will consider something like this for you (they are part of family called 'biologics'). I hope the dr's give you good support.
Well done on graduating, but I can understand that this heightens your sense of loss of your grandmother. (((hugs))) all round me thinks.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
