Morning all. It's a loss of 1.4lbs for me this week which I am very happy with as I had a heavy week with family (for Jewish festivals) which meant lots of heavy meals day after day! I didn't eat badly, just a lot, and saturday night the scale was up 6lbs! If you refocus, the temporary gains can come off and more, and I was VERY happy this morning with the result. Onwards...

Fredsnail - could I be put on the 5lb challenge please.

Well done for some very good losses including Fellpony and victory and puddings and everyone lese and come on the boys (!) for next week.

Lol, am glad it's not just me that the food talks to! Sometimes get a bit paranoid about the cctv in supermarkets, not cos i would ever pinch something but because if they're watching me they might see some bakery type item go in the basket, then two minutes later go back on the shelf, then two minutes later its back in the basket again and then back on the shelf... im sure the cctv people would think im a fruit loop

I never thought about CCTV:rotfl::rotfl:I am always doing it starts in Spetember for the xmas stuff, then after xmas for the heavily reduced chocs, then Jan for the easter eggs and then Feb for pancake day and march for mothers day as quality street and roses stare at you as you enter the store, then after easter for the reduced eggs, on and on it goes:rotfl::rotfl::D

Eric hope you're not pushing your self too much if you're feeling poorly.

nope I took it easy, halved the incline on the treadmill, kept my HR at a lowly 120bpm

and i still tore my poxy left lat this morning, again :mad::mad::mad::mad: I seam to be plagued with injuring it, I always used too get a bloody injury here years ago :(

oh well more running and light weights only, again, for another month

only felt 30% blurgh this morning as opposed to 75% blurgh yesterday

    :p

So, I will just have the small lindl bell without filling of the praline and eat that, the same as a small piece of the full choc bar how can that do any harm?

apart form messing with your lady hormones, keeping your pleasure centre of the brain hitting you with reward hormones, keeping your insulin spiking and creating more cravings

nope it wont do any harm at all :p

I am having an actual crisis - I am so tired and grumpy that I just made and then ate a bacon butty on sliced white (OH's) with butter and sauce, followed by six rich t's dunked in my tea and then 5 jaffa cakes and a Fab lolly. It's only now that've i've stopped, calmed down and I am kicking myself for being so weak. all I want is to be able to act calmly around food, not scoff the lot when I feel the slightest bit upset, tired, ill whatever. I'm seeing some friends again at the weekend and all I can think is how I am always going to be their fat friend, always going to look the same and feel the same about myself. i feel like i'm working towards failure.

I found my relationship with food changed over time, I eventually just stopped having to be bloody minded and applying will power not to pick up all the nom noms.

I just dont want it now
