Yea its still in Debenhams though granny, and i hate retail, i hate debenhams and i still hate my job. I've been there for 5 years during my studies and that is all it was meant to be for! I want to use my degree and start a career for myself. Plus im loosing out on a playgirl lifestyle while im still on minimum wage!!! I want to be paid more than minimum, i'd like to think im worth a bit more than minimum now.
I didnt realise i had so much muscle....perhaps my 30 reps on the machine where you push your legs open on weight 10 sorted it out!!0 -
Work had a free blood pressure check today. They had one last year and I was borderline high pressure and was advised to keep an eye on it, today I'm just above normal range :j:j:j:j
Well done on all the losses everyone - chart will be posted later - but don't forget any loss is a loss and should be celebrated even if it's not as much as you wished, because we all know how blooming hard it is.:)0 -
Woo FS!! Would nose bleeds be related to blood pressure? I do suffer with them, but over the last 6 months or so they have got better but today at the gym i finished my work out and woosh! I've had four today now which is ok cos once it goes it goes. But then again, i always get them before im due on, which must be soon so it might be coinsidental with that.0

Here's this weeks chart:
Congrats to our SoTW Puddings.
Well done to all the losers and stsers - whether your loss be great or small, or none at all you should be very proud you have not put anything on.
Commiserations to the gainers - don't punish yourselves - next week is a clean slate to start again.
This weeks quote is from Jesse Jackson:
Tears will get you sympathy; sweat will get you change.0 -

It can be I think, and also my work colleague has sky high blood pressure and has ringing in her ears due to it - now her BP is falling the ringing is stopping.
BettyB I'm another fan of Davina's video - I'm not fit by any stretch of the imagination but the DVD I have there are 2 instructors and Davina and they each do different levels at the same time so if you don't feel you can cope with one level you can follow the instructor doing the easier level (or harder if it's too easy). For example in some to make it easier instead of doing the same number of reps you can march with a different instructor to keep up heart rate etc and then join in again at the next stage. She does mutter a bit, and sometimes the music can be a bit irritating - but you do get a good alround work out.
I also have a Nell McAndrew dvd - but that seems to mainly work on bums and thighs (as well as cardio) and the instructor there isn't as good as the Davina ones - more military barking out of instructions rather then some encouragement. I tend to do the Nell dvd with the sound down.0 -
