  • Hi guys

Just read your postings and im dreading the weekend. This is where I have a major downfall.

Saturday night is x factor night usually with maltesers/minstrels and m&m's.:o

This week im going to resist!!!

I only lost 1lb last week and I get weighed again on Monday morning. I am aiming for 2lbs this week. Im feeling good about it (as long as I dont give in to temptation at the weekend!!)

romylou best advice to you don't buy it in:D if you absolutely must just buy the small snack packs of the chocs and enjoy them even more so knowing they have less cals and you still get the choc fix or better still dark choc less sugar, don't need so much, or try fruit with natural sugars melon, grapes, apples they are all sweet but carry much less cals, nothing better than pineapple, mixed fruit salad, red melon, cherries all those have sugars but natural ones that satisfy a sweet tooth, eating loads of chocs are wasted cals.

If you add up the cals see what you can swap it for and you will be amazed at what you can eat instead, masses of stuff that is better for you and fills you up rather than gives you a sugar rush and a come down after.:D

them bloody monks, out causing trouble with their breweries again tut
  • Thanks for the tip Victory. OH and I are going to get some food in today and I'll focus on getting some fruit in and he will be under orders to keep me away for the Choccy aisles!!!
  • Victory you are so inspiring, I only wish more parents were like that with their kids. (My parents too lol) Good on you, and DS, the way he is taking to it is a credit to you too.

I am currently in the opposite bracket with our DD, trying to get her to eat anything is a battle. Heart breaking in fact. She is never hungry, people have said to me to leave her be, she'll eat when she's hungry but the trouble is she won't!! She drinks nothing but water, everything else tastes "gusting" her word for it. It's really hard to sit and watch her at meal times. I am resorting to school dealing with lunch time, it does at least give me one meal off duty!

She suprised me last night though, she made Angel delight, and ate the dish of it that I put out for her with ice cream sprinkles on top too! I won't get over excited though as by tonight she'll have changed her taste buds again!!

I suprised me last night, I wanted a snack to eat whilst watching the tv, my usual down fall eating whilst not thinking about it!!
I had some peeled carrots left over from tea time and chopped them into chunks and had them instead of the crap I usually eat!!
I was so full after eating them too.

Doing really well on the avoiding Coke too, I have a can sat next to me, but it's been there since the night before last, unopened. I keep looking at it and thinking do I want to use 5 points on that or should I save them for something to eat!!
You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.

Puddings, yes we can blame those monks for their buckfast, but shouldn't we more blame the eejits who drink it by the bucketful? It's a major problem where I live. Even my daughter and her bf like to have a bottle or 2 of it at the weekend. Bloody gross!

    yes except its accurate :p

works in all 3 dimensions to pixel accuracy and can even detect tiny amounts of rotation

it can also do augmented reality

plus you dont have the crappy graphics of the Wii, which really put me off using mine, that and how bloody inaccurate it was :(

oh and you can control the level of vibration on them ;)
