true many are aware of the technique but they may not be aware as to the lengths supermarkets went to to create pretend bargains
considering how popular the bargain-betty-reduced-to-clear corner always is, i'm surprised that none of the supermarkets have picked up on it and started deliberately producing stuff that they can put yellow reduced stickers on. im sure there are many [STRIKE]idiots[/STRIKE]people that will buy anything from the reduced to clear corner if they're told that it's cheap.

Eric - do you get two wands with the move kit or did you buy an extra one?

mmm thought so. It has northern written all over it.

I sooo needed an alcoholic drink this eve, so i had some wine and then tought....ahhh the calories. So i stopped. I really think they should highlight the amount of fat you can put on from drinking, i think its one of the ways to get people to stop!
  • Hi everyone ..... Just taken me an age to catch up again, it is amazing how much you miss when you are absent from the internet

Had a couple of nice days down in Cornwall I have been a little :A again apart from a crabbies ginger beer last night which I have to admit I did really enjoy :D Was expecting to do some good surfing but the weather and surf gods were against me. (fingers crossed for some good weather tomorrow)

Puddings - well done on SoTW again :T and I liked the Everest Idea but I think it might just be a little too cold for my liking and I love to Ski so I can do cold :rotfl:

I bought an extra one so that SWMBO can play against me, some games can make use of two at once like the archery. Theres also a direction controller for moving around which you need for some games like sorcery and resident evil (plus 1 wand)

We had huge fun playing the golf game where you have to lob Frisbee's down the course rather than bat a ball about, amazingly accurate response, you can twist the frisbee or tilt it to the tiniest amount and even put some flick spin on it, worst thing is she beat me at just about every game lol, in the gladiator arena she became a woman possessed and battered the carp out of me, sweat was dripping off her :rotfl:

Yesterday was a typical day in my life, something good happened (the move) and then life just queued up a series of kicks in the nadgers. I left work 2 hours early so that I could play before making dinner, 3 hours to get through london and i left early !!! (i did extra hours on thursday to cover the time), even when i got home 4 huge farm vehicles had stopped in the village and blocked both ways, so that was another 20 mins. Then there was my back it had been bad all day so i played gently on the move with some pain killers in me, only to go to bed and find any pressure on it was like being stabbed through the heart from behind ..... It was so bad this morning I got the voltarol out ....

So far the move is fabulous, some of the games are huge fun, some make you knackered and some like the table tennis are hard to master. I did 30 mins on the gladiator game and was very warm and probably would have started to sweat after another 10 or so mins, which would have put me at about 500 cals an hour
  • Hi all, hope you are having a good week. I am having a better week :D, although work has been stressful, instead of heading for chocolate I brought a nectarine. Not quite the same satisfaction :p but it made me realise that I can do this :D.

AIWTS - Glad you had a good break, shame about the surfing though and well done on being an :A!

Fellpony - Glad that things are improving with DS. :j Being a mum is one of the hardest jobs at the best of times, and you are an insperation to me. Good idea about the school run maybe I will try that on my day off.

Eric - What an awful journey home, although things like that always happen when we have something planned:mad:

Welcome to all the newbies, I am fairly new myself and its been a great help to me :D

Off to do the housework, what an exciting life I lead :rotfl:
    :j Target weight loss 2010 30lbs - Weight loss so far 17lbs :j
