hmm veggie makes it a challenge
steaks a fruit right?
never tried a low carb veggie diet, could work, plenty of veggie protein sources about
Thanks Eric :rotfl:
I used to eat chicken, bacon/pork, maybe I should go back to including them in my diet to give me more choices of meals?
I don't dislike them, just went all veggie about 2 years back.
I really don't know where to start, low carb?
Still need to catch up with previous posts and advice. A lot of reading to do.
Steak's a fruit, I like your humour.:rotfl:
Fruit, I don't eat enough, hardly any.0 -

i would try reducing your carbs, not totally cutting them out, say 25-40% of your diet, and where you do eat carbs make them low GI carbs
and make sure you get a good protein source with each meal as its an appetite suppressant, theres plenty of "none fruit" protein sources, whey protein is normally veggie
i tend not to eat any fruit as its normally high in carbs, veg i eat by the sack load0 -
Victory, keep up the being so nice to your boss! Sounds like he is a right twonk.
Vix, hugs on the Matt front.
Eric hope you're not pushing your self too much if you're feeling poorly.
Well done Pudding on SOTW! Man is winning the battle with food then huh!!
Eventually remembered to weigh in, delighted to report a 5lb loss this week!! not quite sure how, but it's off and by gum it's going to stay off this time. Grrrrr!! lol
DD had her first days (mornings anyway) back at school this week and I feel like a new person already! I was quite naughty and drove her to school but in my weight loss challenge I left the car there and walked home, walking back to pick her up when she was finished. Would have been great except it piddled down with rain the whole time. I was like a drowned rat when I got to school!! lol
Am trying to swap my chocolate habit for a ryvita mini habit, I really like the chilli ones so am not missing choccy just yet.
And have been off the coke now for 2 days, head is pounding a bit but have calmed it with a coffee for now and diluted it with water!!
Hope everyone has a good weigh in tomorrow x xYou never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -
Fellpony Congrats on the weight loss and the fact your daughter has got back to school.
Gresilda Welcome to the board everyone here is very helpful and really really supportive no matter how you are doing.
I have got to work out a way of resisting the biscuit tin at work. My friend has suggested dropping out of the group tea boat and providing my own victuals thus meaning I'm not entitled to biscuits. Though a little anti-social I think I may have to consider this.0 -
Great loss fellpony.

Can't wait as I haven't been to Paris in over 20 years!! :j But bit nervous about looking the part, I usually look like a bag lady on holiday so your coat would be ideal for swanning around in - can I borrow it?;)
Ohh sounds lush hezza, have a top time!! are you leaving from ebbsfleet or ashford?sarymclary wrote: »Vixarooni - sorry to hear about your split with Matt. Does that mean the dating once back home is now not going to happen, or will that just be without him being the date? A tough decision for you to make, although I know you've been talking about your concerns about life for a fair few months now, but it's still a difficult thing to do. Thinking of you, and hope you're OK.
No, the dating thing isnt going to happen. We had a talk and thought why put off the inevitable. I still see him though, he came round for dinner today because his parents are so rubbish that i don't think they'd look after him properly. Its slowly getting easier, just want matt to be out there doing things now.0 -
Taking a dive in here, I need help
and don't know where to start.
Can I join in? I need to lose a lot of weight, 8 stone, 9 ideally
Depressed, no motivation, no support and not getting anywhere.
Veggie too. Living on my own, no contact with others and very shy IRL.
Help.
Hey gres. Whats IRL? And how come you dont have any contact with others if you dont mind me asking.0 -
alliwantistosave - congratulations!!! I don't think you need any ideas from me, you seem to be doing perfectly well on your own, but I'll look forward to hearing what your next challenge will be!
And there was me thinking you would have a great idea for my next hair brained stunt :rotfl:
