feeling very odd atm, no weight loss and yet I am exhausted like I hadnt eaten for a week...
wonder if i am coming down with something, temp was 37.1 this morning which is tiny bit high for me (normally 36.5)0 -
Vixarooni - sorry to hear about your split with Matt. Does that mean the dating once back home is now not going to happen, or will that just be without him being the date? A tough decision for you to make, although I know you've been talking about your concerns about life for a fair few months now, but it's still a difficult thing to do. Thinking of you, and hope you're OK.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

vix's post 1174 on the previous page Victory...
Great to hear how you are handling DS and he is happy. Well done you.
Eric - hope you can pin point the reason why you don't feel so good. I had a day yesterday - very pale and felt lousy but it has passed today,Wondered at the time if I was coming down with summat.
Question for you eric:I have cut out all dairy and prepackages stuff for last 3 weeks( as well as sugar and other stuff and mainly eating skinless white meat). I haven't lost any weight really but I wondered if it could still be positively affecting my interal fat levels?
I have no idea what they are as don't have that sort of scales.
Pinkie: look after yourself - that's an order:D
Vix - gorgeous new coat.
Yeah, thanks Sary, it's going to be a while before my health is more balanced when either meds or this elimination diet may show results. Extensive psoriais (as wellaas the srthritis that goes with it)can make you really ill, and not many peple (not suprisingly) realise that, thinking it's just a bit of scabby skin on elbows) Hoping by xmas.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

its a difficult one, its hard to accurately work out internal fat or in reality any amount of fat and muscle without dissection and lots of buckets and scales
made more frustrating by the fact our bodies dont seam to know the rules about how much weight they should loose based on your cal deficit
if you are creating a cal deficit you should loose weight, however many things can cause you to retain fluid, TOTM, illness, salt and training (i suspect I am holding fluid as i spent 3 hours exercising yesterday and I am pumped at the moment so i could have 2-4lbs of fluid retention around my muscle mass). If your training you can also put on lean mass which can counter balance weight loss but you will notice that you get smaller.
I can not however find any break down on how your body breaks down internal fat (visceral) to subcutaneous fat (under the skin). I was surprised my visceral fat level is 23 and is still 23 a week later, but it could have been 40+ when i started .
this is interesting

seams the only way to drop visceral fat is to exercise0 -

Thinking of you Vix. Hope it's all going well.
I've only had oysters once, I agree with Vix -- YEURCHHH - but it was at the Louvre's posh restaurant as part of a brunch menu. (If they're still doing it Hezza it's a brilliant lunch time meal and surprsingly low priced for such a super restaurant - only avaialbe on Sundays I think.)
I'll go back on the chart too please Fred (as Vix is ).
BB it is simply not fair that you are eating such a restricted diet and not losing weight. I know that isn't why you're doing it but still.....!!0 -
Granny~its good to see you
