Oh Lalli! What a horrid situation to be in... I had a similar situation when I had my friend move in... we were really good friends and once we started living together i began to hate her! It was silly little things like she'd forget to replenish things or when she did it'd be the cheapest of the cheap and it used to annoy me... like i'd buy a 12 pack of Andrex and she's get a 4 pack tesco own and i'd get reall wound up!! Now that we don't live together anymore we're excellent friends again (Okay so we're 200 miles apart and i think that helps hahha!)
My advice to you is to grin and bear it. I mean you are in a unique situation in that you are living with your tennant and that you are friends, it's not really the same as a huge formal landlord/tennant thing where you not buying a washing machine could be an issue. With friends it's about give and take in that situation. It's very unfair of her to try to make it sound like you are doing something illegal! I don't blame you for needing a rant!
I really think though that you can grin and bear it just for a bit longer so as to not cause any problems although I know it's really hard. Use this thread to rant abou her to make your last few weeks together a bit easier and do just keep counting down the days and focussing on how soon it will be until you have your own space again.

Welcome Johanne! It's nice to have someone else join us here. I may pick your brains about Avon as i'm thinking about becomming a SAHM and Avon lady myself once we move! Well I say SAHM but I am planning on still doing freelance work and probably doing Avon so it's hardly being someone who sits at home and plays nice games all day!
Feel free to use this link to join Ciao to help you earn a bit of money: www.ciao.co.uk/reg.php?FriendId=6778369 You may have read in our thread that it is a review site where you earn money per review. It seems a bit slow at first but as your write more and become 'known' by members it is easier and faster to earn.
If you're selling baby clothes let me know how you get on! I've done lots of listings recently and it's been really hit and miss! But like Lalli says just stick at it! I find that Amazon is much faster and easier to navigate than Ebay, I'm confused by how Ebay works and find you don't tend to make as much so if you think it will be on Amazon then go for that! That's my advice! And it'l be worth the effort of listings etc when you get your money!0 -
Hi Joanne and welcome, you're in the right place in here if you want to make some extra money and need support we are all in the same boat.
Wow Lali what a cr*p situation to be in, but at least you know that she will be away soon (back to under the stone she crawled out from... is it too strong?) In the meantime just grin and bare it and think about your new place.
Well, on an other note- my new e-bay listings finished on saturday evening and guess how many sold?
3 out of 17!!! Is it a new record? - it may be... and even that 3 item hardly made anything but I just will have re-list them again and again and again...
Joanne- don't let this put you off, e-bay is a very good way to sell things and once you listed your item it is really easy to relist it. Also amazon is very easy to use once you registered just check out some of the previous messages- I am a new convert..."NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"

Hi all!
Welcome johanne, well done so far. It's great to receive such encouragement and positive energy from the lovely ladies on this thread.lorrie, it's good to break-out now and again!
I had some sales on ebay this weekend, but checked my account to find I have racked up £15.43 in costs  Crikey, how did that happen, especially as some of my items were 99p. They really do take quite a chunk out of your profits. Then of course Paypal take their bit .... will have to do a profit-and-loss exercise to see if I've actually made anything. Also, had to open a non-payment case with ebay, a customer in France is tardy paying for a pair of designer shoes.
All quiet on the amazon front.
Waiting to get paid for a few mystery shops, and have another to do tomorrow, £7, not to be sniffed at, all adds up.
Think I will wait a few days before doing a running total, should have more of a picture by then.0 -
I know i agree, i get annoyed with all the fees too. I owe about £20 onebay fees although I have no idea how, I thikn they make their charges up as they go along!
I've been selling on Amazon for 3 weeks. After 2 weeks I got the money transferred to my bak account- £80. Now I've just checked what it's up to again and it's already on £49! I can't believe it! I sold a board game today for £15 which has really boosted it up! To thikn I was actually going to just throw all this stuff away!!
My ebay lots end tomorrow. So far only 1 (out of 8) will sell. So I'm not holding my breath :S0 -
Nothing much happened on a savings front, but I have now 35 items listed on amazon! I have re-listed my stuff on e-bay and have to take some pictures of some new stuff too...
I have realised that I have a few struff to take to my local auction house- like a new gas BBQ that my husband friend has given us ( he won it on an in-bar promotion that my husband ran) and still haven't used after 2 years (well- its almost always raining in here in the summer) plus some other heavy / bulky stuff that is just not feasable to list on ebay / carry to the bootsale. I will take it over on Friday and the next auction is on a Thursday after- I will let you know us how did everything go.
I also hope to do an other bootsale this Saturday if the weather is willing and after that I will give it a rest- I sold most of my decent stuff and can't be bothered to look around on the roofspace at the moment plus I'm very tired after doing my other jobs too.
I have read on some of the forums that there is sometimes an opportunity to buy something from the pound shop and sell it on for profit on e-bay- has anybody had any experience with this? It sounds like straightforward enough if you can find a good product..."NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"
