Hey welcome! Goodluck with your pregnancy!
Whilst I was pregnant did join ciao and dooyoo which are review sites. They don't pay massive amounts but I would earn about £50 a month and enjoyed doingi t. I would write reviews on all sorts of things like my pregnancy support pillow, the NCT antenatal, chocolate bars, restaurants... ANYTHING and so long as you then rate other reviws on the site people will rate you and the more you get rated the more money you accumulate. They also do some comeptitions on Ciao too where you can compete for 'product of the week' where the three best reviews on a particular product get awarded some money. I found this helped pass my days when I was on maternity leavew aiting for my baby to be born! If you want any links feel free to pm me (I can't link to dooyoo at the moment though as i have a problem with my account!)
It's worth having a look at what you could sell too. I've listed a number of things on amazon and have been amazed at how well they've sold!
Hope you get on okay, do you have a paticualr target you would like to meet?0 -
Hahaha Lalli, a like button would be good! =D0

Eeek, just looked myself up on goofbay seller thingy, not good0

I'm liking this motivational thread! I've just listed 13 items on ebay, four of which sold. I made £14.50 including postage, but as I do the royal mail surveys I didn't actually have to pay anything for postage as I have plenty of stamps so thats £14.50 for clothes I never wore! I've re-listed the other 9 items that didn't sell and will bundle them up if they don't sell this time.
I've just requested my first voucher from Toluna survey site for £15 love to shop vouchers, I'm planning on saving these up for Christmas.
I'm also doing the royal mail mis-direction survey at the moment which I will get £6 love to shop vouchers for at the end of the two weeks.
Got a few more surveys to do in my inbox, probably do those tonight.
I may try selling a few books on amazon, never thought of trying to sell things on there before this thread so cheers guys!
How do I register for Lightspeed panels? Sorry if someone has already asked :-/

Urgh. Two bootsales down and £15 up, damn weather! Last bootsales around here seem to be next weekend so gonna do Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and then everything else will have to go on ebay.
Ebay and amazon sales up though, suppose that's also because of the weather.
Also 3 job interviews this week, 1 that I really want, 1 that I'd take for the experience and 1 that I know nothing about because my agent arranged it and has yet to pass me any details
How's everyone else? Good bank holiday?0 -
Some good new though. My mum sent my sister over with all the parcels she's collected (I'm having all my post sent to her at the mo) and so today I received: 2 parcels of teabags, organic and redbush; pack of face wipes; Rimmel tan makeup; deoderent to test; and finally 18 mini boxes of dorset cereals musli and stuff. I would heartily recommend everyone play spin the bottle on the dorset cereals website, it's lovely cereal, yum0

well my amazon sales are up too! Text books mainly which must be because the new academic year is starting! Aside from that everything is quiet really. Not had much chance to do a lot.
Goodluck with the job interviews! I hope it goes well! Let us know how you get on... and also hope the car boots go okay for you too, shame you only made £15!x0 -
Woohoo, I've earnt £2.38 on Ciao. Last time I looked I was only up to 30p so that's masses of money!
Anyway, I've had one interview, not too bad but I don't think I'll get it which is a shame because out of the three thats the one I wanted but hey! Two more Friday and then it's on to the weekend.
Plans for the weekend.... Saturday and Sunday car boot sales.... It's the last for the year for a lot fo the car boots around here so wanna get rid of as much as possible. Can't wait to find a new house and then I can stock up again and get serious about ebay. There's nothing in the Friday ad or Argus though. Apparently by law I can't rent a one bed flat because I need a separate bedroom for me and my child, and two bed places seem to be pretty scarce at the mo.
oh well, my 'eviction' date is the 17th and we're spending that weekend at Silverstone for the Renault thingy so at least we'll be sleeping in tents. Although the Argus tody did have a feature on a landlord whi ended up sleeping in a tent because their tenant wouldn't move out. I could never do that because it just seems wrong, in effect IT'S NOT MY HOUSE, but then I can understand because round here, a landlord giving notice and you moving out when they ask is considered to be voluntary homelessness. It's a stupid system when you have to become a squatter to be homeless grrrr, local councils, anyway, I'm sure something will turn up, today is one of my more positive and rambling days so....
How's everyone else doing?0 -
Fingers crossed for your interviews today and for the car boot sales going okay! So can you really not rent a 1 bedroom flat?! Would that mean you're breaking the law?! That seems so bizarre... Can you not say that you sleep on the sofa if that ius then an issue? i never knew of that law, God help me if I ever become single n have to support myself n Hope i'd never be able to afford a 2 bed place!!
I've done NOTHING on ciao, since Dooyoo have been funny i've lost all interest in doing reviews right now but I am keeping busy with Amazon, so many things have sold this week it's been chaos! I have to do two refunds though through the royal mail with items that have gone missing in the post so not too happy about that!
I've had a bit of transcribing this week so earnt £15 which is making up for the lack of reviews that I'm doing right now.
I'm feeling seriously not motivated though it's impossible to find enthusiasm right now, think it's becuase it's all dawning on me that I have to move house soon and the stress is making me panic which results in me not wanting to move an inch!!0 -
Hello all, I'm back ...
I was away for 3 days to Dublin, and had a great time and very nice weather for a change! I feel all refreshed and very skint- Dublin and Ireland are extremely expensive but only 2 hours of drive away.
On the savings front on my last carboot sale I cleared £35 - that makes £200 from 5 carboot sales of unwanted stuff + a tidier garage- I only just scrached the top of the iceberg... and didn't even go anywhere near to the roofspace.
I have also sold an other book an Amazon and made £4 profit plus managed to sell a DVD triple on e-bay at a profit of £4 too. I have now approx £50 in my paypal account but I think I will keep it and use it to buy my daughter (and me!) a GHD hairstaightener for Christmas- I saw new ones from £49 and my daughter always wanted one (and me too!). :rotfl:
On the auction my 'antiques' only cleared £43 that is really cr*p  but I keep have to tell myself that it was only seating in the cupborad gathering dust- well we all live and learn.
On the home front- I had to spend £330 on my car to get new tyres, break pad etc to get it ready for its MOT at the end of September- however I really worry that it will need even more work to pass its MOT- watch this space...
I still didn't managed to motivate myself to put new stuff on e-bay- I hope I will get myself organised soon and start to make more money on e-bay.
Well, thats me up-to-date... saved - £715 - £385 to go ....."NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"
'They can have my money but not my life!' Debt & mortgage free in 18 years *0
