oo good luck lalli! Hope it goes well... I would if I could find themotivation but i'm so busy packing to move that the thought of standing in a field for hours with a grumpy toddler really doesn't inspire me!!! Fancy taking all my rubbish too?! haha! hope it goes well!0

Right, need to pull my finger out this next week and make some serious money. Now if only I could find the motivation to do anything0
-
Lets get motivated!!!
Keep thinking about all the things that you can turn into money to spend it on something you really want / need!!!
I have to pull my finger out and put some new stuff on e-bay- I'm not going to bore you but I really find it very tedious. After looking through the thread about all the unusal things that you can sell, I came accross my newish mobile phones' empty box (worth £5+) and a bottle of branded parfum without a box that I got on a carboot for 50p and its costs £30 when new so I checked it out and a simular one sells approx £7.00+ (some people selling half used ones without a box too). Thank you absoluutemebiner for posting the thread... PS - have you set a date yet to flying over to Spain?
Today I had an other sale from Amazon (the 5th) and made £12 profit after fees / postage. I'm really happy with it through- it was a specialist book and wasn'r sure as when it will shift... But it also shows how much costs involved of selling books on amazon- the person paid £20 + PP- I got £17.20 and paid £5.40 for sending it...
Total to date: £633
£467 to go...."NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"

I am feeling VERY unmotivated...0

After much consideration I'm blaming the weather :rotfl:0

I think i've worked too hard this week... i now can't be bothered to do a thing. The house is a mess with Hope's toys and I have been emailed a transcript to do but i have NO motivation to do anything but sit here online and moan! And I can't blame the weather as it's sunny here!!!!!!!!!!!0
-
Ah, but here's the genius of my plan.
When it's sunny you can't motivate yourself because you want to be out in the sun; when it's raining you can't motivate yourself because the rain is too depressing; likewise snow - you want to play, wind - makes children and animals mad so must have an affect on adults, overcast - SAD, see where I'm going here?0 -
basically we're all doomed?! Nice! I like it!0

Hi wecansave, welcome, congratulations and good luck with your first, it's exciting isn't it but scarey at the same time!
Survey sites can be good but they won't earn you much, say £5 extra per month for what is really quite a large chunk of your time. Sign up by all means but don't look on it as a large chunk of your income.
Other things that you can look into are daily clicks - like the surveys they won't net you thousands but you are looking at a few hundred per year for 5 minutes of your time each day, mystery shopping can be quite a good earner as can some of the catalogues - avon and kleeneze spring to mind, review sites like dooyoo and ciao can also work if you have the time to write reviews- Lorrie can pm you some links for those if you ask nicely
The 'up your income' board is a great source of ideas, but I suggest you read through all the threads before asking questions as asking something that's already been asked before can frustrate some posters
And of course you can always join one of the challenge threads if you need more motivation!0 -
