Totally agree! This post smacks of benefit fraud IMV, so I can not offer advise to the OP, because I can't condone what she is doing!

Hardly. Assuming her to be talking the truth (no reason not to), she is back with her ex, and wants to do it "officially".

Or can people not get back with ex-partners?

But you can not know that for a fact, so I think you are being very judgemental. If you dont want to advise her simply stay away from the thread and dont be so attacking.

How do we know if anyone on here is genuine? We dont.

Of course they can, be the OP is far from consistant, which leads me to that conclusion! What she does is up to her, but given the wording of the question, it doesn't sound right to me!

I though this thread would have died a death by now.

Apparently I have added an extra letter to one of my posts, I dont use a spell checker and I also cant use my both my hands properly but regular users know that:rotfl:

Hello to you all, me and my partner are moving in together soon, we have three children together but have never lived together

Based on that one line from the OP first post! I think I am perfectly within my rights to have an opnion that all does not seem right!

The OP is not getting back with her partner they have never lived together despite having 3 children!

And I want to work unlike you, you even want your kids to live off benefits for life even though they are only kids!

Of course people can get back together. But the OP has said herself the've been split up for 2 years. Which implies they have been a couple in the past. Now as an honest person the OP would surely have notified the correct depts of her change from 'single parent' to couple (and vice versa when they split up) therefore would already know how long it takes to process such claims.
She also said they have never lived together. Again safe to assume she's been claiming single parent benefits in that time.

She's played the system however you dress it up.

    Exactly!

    OP says :
HOW AM I SCREWING THE SYSTEM???

WE SPLIT FOR TWO YEARS, I HAVE BEEN A SINLE PARENT AS HAS HE, SO HOW ARE WE SCREWING THE SYSTEM?

So they split for 2 yrs, yet have never lived together, so presumably were together at some point, claiming that they were not!?

And I'm judgemental with no reason;)

Sorry I am confused by this Couple definition. So are they defined by the benefits system as a couple because they have children?
