Let me just clarify this for all of you that seem to be missing the point..............AnxiousMum wrote: »Simply two unemployeds, sharing living arrangements with their own children, deciding to move in together 'officially'........and the variation of what Morgan Ree has pointed out - depending on the age of your eldest child could've meant a reduction in benefits for the father, etc. etc. etc., all points to 'getting more benefits' from where I'm at.
I don't recall saying 'I'm so clever', but I'm not a sucker either, and sometimes to understand somebody you have to ask questions, which you get all rude and arrogant about. Remember, you created your original post, you typed it the way it came across. So when people ask for clarification, or further information - instead of jumping down their throats, maybe remember that people are here to help where help is needed, and if you're not prepared to be polite to them, then go to hell and wait your turn at the job centre to ask
Nighty nights
Were moving in together so our children can have both parents around them growing up, as for the ages and changes in benefit, my partner will be back in work well before our eldest is 7, i truly hope none of you ever have to go through an accident or illness that causes you to have to claim benefits in order to live for a few months without the fear of losing your home. One word for you ................Karma!Morgan_Ree wrote: »Except claim to be single when you're actually a couple.
Who cares if you only see him at weekends!! I haven't seen my OH in 3 months but that doesn't make me single does it
As for the defensive remarks about your son.
You felt the need to mention ADHD. Why? Sympathy vote maybe?
It's just another thing to go along with 'poor me my mum threw me into childcare when i was a baby'0 -

Hmmmmm maybe not all of us relied on benefits to get us through the tough times, or arranged our relationship around them either.0

Oh my god, if i dont laugh i will cry!
How on earth have i managed a relationship around an illness?
This is getting ridiculous, i asked for advise, got jumped on for being honest and now ridiculous accusations are being thrown.
Note to self.....Do not ask for advice from anyone on here again!

Quite funny, seeing as my opinions and my stated facts have not changed that this time I am "talking sense".
Perhaps the only change is your final realisation that actually, I always talk sense (don't worry though, I'm used to people taking a while to see it, in much the same way Darwin took a while before he was seen to be "talking sense";)).All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -

Totally agree! This post smacks of benefit fraud IMV, so I can not offer advise to the OP, because I can't condone what she is doing!0 -
