Hello to you all, me and my partner are moving in together soon, we have three children together but have never lived together, we are planning on doing everything legit but how d i go about doing it, i know he has to give 4 weeks notice to the council to give up his flat and i am currently on I.S/C.T.C/H.B/C.T.B/ AND C.B he is currently out of work due to illness.
I know a friend who has recently done this with her partner and three months on is still waiting for her money to be sorted out, im just concerened that if they dont sort it all we will have to live on is 47 pound a week for 5 of us
I just want to know the best way of dealing with this without not having any money to live on untill its all sorted.

What is that supposed to mean???
If your referring to us both being on benefits then i think your out of order!
You know nothing about either of us and you judge immediately??????
He is out of work because of illness, up untill recently he had his own business and probably paid more towards tax than you!
Me on the other hand i dont believe a woman should have a child then throw it into childcare as soon as it is born!!!
I will happily get a job when my youngest starts school in the mean time i will carry on as i am, and if you have no advice i would appreciate you keep your comments to yourself thank you0

I think the clue is in the title ppl - advice needed??? just because how they live their lives is not the same as you does not make them any less a family so who give you the right to judge!
As for the original question - go to your local job centre and they should be able to advice you, and good luck with moving in together!

well they did make 3 children together.
Did i ask for relationship advice?
As i said you dont know anything about us and for your information he has provided for his children unlike most men, is that whats wrong with you two?
Not getting what you think your entitled to??
Well anyway besides these two women who i bet are sitting at home on benefits themselves or who have been hit by the stop to benefits to those who earn more than 30k a year, can anyone else advise me what the best way to go is?
Or shall we just expect our children to survive on bread and water untill their dad goes back to work again? by that time we may well have lost the roof over our head :S
I love how helpful everyone is here, especially you T, thanks x0
