The point people are making is that you should already be living together as a family and not screwing the benefits system the way you have been.0

You know nothing about either of us and you judge immediately??????
You seem to be the one making judgments! He is out of work because of illness, up untill recently he had his own business and probably paid more towards tax than you!Well anyway besides these two women who i bet are sitting at home on benefits themselves or who have been hit by the stop to benefits to those who earn more than 30k a year, can anyone else advise me what the best way to go is?Gone ... or have I?0

SCREWING THE SYSTEM IS WHEN YOU ARE A COUPLE LIVING TOGETHER AND CLAIMING SEPARATELY OR AM I MISTAKEN?
I HAVE A BIT OF ADVISE FOR YOU ALL THAT HAVE COMMENTED....................... GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSES AND GO DO SOMETHING USEFULL WITH YOUR EVENING
OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN TO SIT AND CRITISISE SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING, I COULD QUITE EASILY SCREW THE SYSTEM AS YOU PUT IT BUT IM CHOOSING TO DO THINGS THE RIGHT WAY AND BECAUSE OF THAT IM A BAD PERSON????? I THINK YOU ALL NEED TO THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK0

You cannot criticise people for doing something, and then do it yourself. That would be hypocritical.

Hello to you all, me and my partner are moving in together soon, we have three children together but have never lived together, we are planning on doing everything legit but how d i go about doing it, i know he has to give 4 weeks notice to the council to give up his flat and i am currently on I.S/C.T.C/H.B/C.T.B/ AND C.B he is currently out of work due to illness.
I know a friend who has recently done this with her partner and three months on is still waiting for her money to be sorted out, im just concerened that if they dont sort it all we will have to live on is 47 pound a week for 5 of us
I just want to know the best way of dealing with this without not having any money to live on untill its all sorted.
Im not being funny but you say that your partner is going to be moving in with you which means you are not a single parent as you have a partner.
You might find that the DWP get suspicious & invsetigate you as at present you are falsely claiming as a single parent & therfore are commiting benefit fraud.I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.
