Do you know how expensive OU can be?
I read this thread, then laughed a lot. For the record, I can't stand Pimms, Hubby is in the most secure job you can get, I'd like to see him try and run off with a "secretary" he'd have job in his profession.
If he decided to bat for the other team I am sure I'll cope being professionally qualified myself, :beer:0 -
It's actually free, for her circumstances.tinkerbell28 wrote: »:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Where do i state he supports me financially???
He pays C.S.A so he does his bit for the kids (that was when we wasnt together and he was working). I will be off down to the jobcentre in the morning and get some real advice.
As for the lambrini....................i dont drink!!!
I was purely fuelling your already made up minds of me
I dont need to drink to chill out, unwind or have fun, i have a sense of humour, thank god or i'd be off to slit my wrists after our joyous discussion.
Ahhh, you were the one who mentioned the Lambrini - personally, I hadn't decided whether you were a drinker or not.....nor did I care! I don't NEED a drink either hun, just have the right to have one after a long day at work if I so wish

The OU dont just do courses for people in my situation as it was put, my friend who is a stay at home mom, who's husband works full time also gets her courses paid for.
A little background for you all to thrive on, my mother shipped me into childcare at the age of three months so forgive me for not wanting the same as I had as a child.
My satisfaction comes at the end of the day when my children have had a great day with their mother, they are happy, and content all tucked up into their beds.
Im guessing you all assume im one of these benefit mothers that walks around in designer gear, fobbing my kids off to anyone that will have them so i can go out with my partner and get wasted, well let me tell you you are all so wrong!
Me and my partner have discussed this long and hard and we want our children to have what we didnt, and that is two parents around who love them dearly and if we have to live off benefits for a short while then so be it, we're doing nothing wrong, we live 25 miles away from each other and have decided that now is the time to do things right.
I have a lot of past issues that have affected the reason why he doesn't live with me and why he has our older child, I have now dealt with that and this is why NOW were moving in together.
Im Sorry if i have offended anyone here but i really didnt think i would have to explain myself when asking a simple question.0 -

I didn't suggest the OU only did courses for people in your circumstances. I said that based upon your finances (i.e. your circumstances), your OU course will be free. All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -

Maybe an basic english qualification would help you to post without the above highlighted mistakes:p0 -
You may wish to stop referring to the children's father as 'my partner' at this point. If he is in fact 'your partner', then you are already in murky waters with regards to being a single parent or not at the moment. How old is your youngest?0

There is no need for me to highlight the hilarious irony of this post Sunnyone.
Do you really have to do the whole spell-check, grammar Nazi routine on EVERY poster that you disagree with? All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0
