Major victory for me, managed to get down the stairs [ok had to use the stair lift] and out into the garden for a while and enjoy the sunshine... the legs go on strike quite often now.

My victory of [STRIKE]day[/STRIKE] this year is:

I've made an edible loaf of bread:j and it was sooooo tasty.

Finally worked out the right heat/time setting for my fan assisted oven, only taken 4 years!

Until now I had made loaf shape door stops, roll shaped rocks and bap shaped Frisbees :rotfl:

There be no stopping me now:D

It's great to read about everyone's "Victory of the day" makes me want to speak in a Churchill voice and say well done !:T
They are so varied and so personal - I wonder how many Victories will earn us our wings ?
May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce:D

Hope you have a good day and manage to get up and about again. My Dh is in a similair position and we are looking forward to going out today for a couple of hours before I wear a path round the garden staring at my veg demanding they grow! Hope for a victory at Dunelm Mill, will keep you posted :)

I'm changing the decor of my living room slightly (on a budget of about 50p ;)) - my victory of today, or yesterday really, was repainting my morror frame. I saw one I loved in a designer shop for £750

Painted my own using leftover paint from my last burst of creativity... and I have something even better, because I made it myself :D
    Nobody I'd rather be ;)

Just been to Dunelm mill with a budget of a fiver and got a valance which matches my Tesco single quilt cover (Cath Kidston style) So Ican now turn the 2 into a double quilt cover. The valance was reduced from 23.99 to 3.99. I will soon have the sanctuary I desire and the whole rooms cost less than 20 pounds.
