Thought to keep our spirits up and support each other I would start a new thread focusing on tiny victories (or big ones). Anything you like thats positive, things you have found, acheived or made. The thread made fade into insignificance by Friday but hey at least I tried.
We can give each other :j:T:rotfl::beer: or just a well done.
So start us off guys........

This is a good idea. There is so much gloom and doom around! Time to stop and smell the flowers.
I just scored a free painted-wood chest to store all my garden pots and tools in; and I've actually managed to do lots of potting up. My tomato plants have flowers and my courgettes have buds!
Last night we started a massive clear out. I woke up to a nice (relatively!) uncluttered dining room and am now in the mood to carry on with the cleaning and tidying this evening...thats a big thing for me!
But what are yours Ginnyknit?0 -
I scraped mould off my bread for breakfast, and mould off pesto for my lunch.
And I'm still alive :j
And it's only Tuesday  Normally I'm not scraping mould off things until the end of the week0 -
Used the food I bought from the list I took to the shop! ;)Not overdrawn the first time in years (OK I have a large O/D in another bank but it's away from main account)
Gave myself a day off from job hunting.0 -

As we already have a thread designed to be positive and uplifting:
5 OS Pleasures in your Day Today part 2
I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the posts together.

I'm not one for having srong opinions about threads opening, closing or merging, but I do think a victory thread has a different tone to '5 pleasure in my day' and therefore should be a different thread, one of my pleasures was sitting by my pond at silly o'clock this morning eating homebaked bread. It was a pleasure, not a victory. (The victory was last weekend getting my 10 yr old son and his best friend to dig the massive hole required for the pond!)0 -
Well new to this part of the forum so hello to you all.
Today after 6 months of threatening too I've finally cleared the airing cupboard out and boy did it need it !!!!!! :j
Am in the mood for more de-cluttering now, but maybe tomorrow!!!0 -
After forcing myself to start running again (after 14 years absence) today is the first day in 5 that i have woken up without muscle aches and am actually not dreading my stress relief 5 mile run tonight :j
I also agree this thread is completely different to the 5 os pleasures one (my running isn't a pleasure believe mei do it to help me sleep )
Leigh xxI will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)

Victory of the other day - I was at a festival, where the price of a pint or other alcoholic drink at the bar was £3.75 and they use a token system. I found a strip of three tokens lying on the ground. Three free drinks!0

I like this thread
My victory of the day was getting the labels off a load of Bonne Maman jars with a bit of soaking and elbow grease. At least one of them will be filled with lemon curd tomorrow.
Oh and also my sourdough starter is looking lovely and healthy, I thought for a day or two he was dead.0
