Had our first bad night for a while last night. I can only assume that the trip to the vets unsettled her. She was up at 3am for a wee, and then at 4.30am for a poop. It's that or it's the infection messing with her. Still, she's happy enough...it's just me thats suffering! :rotfl:
Got let out of work an hour early so people could come and watch the match...however, as I'm not interested I've been playing with Belle and the inner from a kitchen roll. It's the best game EVER apparently! She went nuts. Ha ha. She was also a very good girl this morning and ate her table with her breakfast...so I'm hoping it'll be easy enough to get the rest of them down her.

Didnt have such a good night with Boris up at 4.30 for 20 mins crying on and off, also poo'd and wee'd lots:( I also gave him his first worming tablet (from me) and he eat it fine:) Hes just woken up and wants to play and to be honest Im a bit shattered, so just used your idea and given him the inside tube from kitchen roll, seems to be working:) Boris isnt due his second set of injections until the 9th and I really want to get him out asap, you can tell he needs it already.

I just read my post from yesterday!!! Clearly she ate her tablet not table. Ha ha :rotfl:
We had a brilliant night last night, however we did poo in the living room this morning...doh! Her infection appears to be clearing up...that or she cleaned herself just before I got home. I'm really pleased thats she's gobbling down her pills with her food though. I'll worm her for the first time tomorrow...I'm hoping after Tuesday we'll be going on walks because she's driving me nuts. She's just got so much energy and curiosity that needs tending too.

Poor Boris, hope he was more settled last night. We'll get there. Amibel is 10 weeks tomorrow!! She's getting so big now though it's frightening.

Hopefully we will get there in the end:) Boris woke at 5.20 because one of the kids went to the bathroom and was too noisy! We're the same with the house training, one second he's running outside to do a wee or going to the back door to let you know he needs to go; then next he does a poo in the kitchen:( From what others have told me, it just all comes together and they just stop having accidents:) Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Not me...she was sat outside with me and then went in whilst I put the recycle bins into the shed and had a wee in the kitchen! Doh!
Still, l'm choosing to believe that it will all just come together. She's looking exceptionally cute today and I could eat her. She really does know how to turn on the charm when it suits! ha ha.

Up at 5.20 am this morning for a pee then slept again until about 8.30 am. She only got up because I did I think. She's been quite calm this morning. However, I had a job getting her to toilet outside this morning. Someone had put their dog outside and the dog was clearly not very happy about it. Lots of barking later (sounds like a big dog) and my little Belle was a quivering wreck in the corner. So we had a little treat and some "attempted" playtime to distract her. But she still wouldn't go to the loo even though I knew she wanted to.

So it's taken a while to get anything done this morning. Still, 95% of toileting has been done outside today so I'm happy, just the one accident and I put that down to the big dog. :D

Well Boris is getting there, he woke at 6.40 which is better than 4.30:) And he was doing so well going out the back door to poo and wee, was just feeling really good about how well he was doing when I caught him in the front room doing a poo! Took him for a carry round the block today (was recommended to get him ready for when he can go for a walk). He was a little shaky but seemed interested, I still have 2 weeks before he can go out:( Got his collar and lead today and put it on for the first time, its one of the little harness type ones, hes so small it only fits on my husbands hand! Hopefully and full night again tonight:)

Well we were going great guns until my DH returned. Left him in charge of bedtime last night whilst I went to bed! BAD IDEA. I woke up this morning and she's peed in her bed and pooed. She's not done this in ages. He woke me up from an afternoon nap yesterday in a vile mood because she'd peed in the living room. I keep trying to say she's a pup and needs time and patience and a bit of encouragement. I'm guessing tonight will be another crazy one followed by a good rest of the week.

Men! It's him that needs training not her. I think we might take her for a carry round the block today...sounds like a plan. DH will have to carry her though...she's getting too heavy and long for me to be able to do it comfortably - and I wouldn't want my stress carrying through to her.

Good night last night, Boris did wake in the night only because my DD got up to go to the loo, he complained for 20 seconds and that was it till 6.45:) Starting to feel confident that hes got sleeping sorted. Boris is in the kitchen at night with puppy pads down and he does wee on them and if he does wake in the night does a poo, again on the pads; so I dont mind. We are still having accidents but again I dont mind as we dont have carpet, hes only 9 weeks and 2 days old today and has only been here 2 weeks. Couple of people have said it takes about 6 to 7 weeks before it just comes together.

Men can be a pain if yours is like mine he never does as I ask, does what he wants. Belle will just be confused by the change and if shes like Boris thats sends him all over the place, just like babys she needs routine. Well at least he will be useful for carrying her round the block, when can you take Belle for a walk?

Fingers crossed she will get her 2nd jab on Tuesday then we can go walkies. She should have been getting it at lunchtime today but because of the antibiotics they decided to leave it a couple of days.

Belle was 10 weeks on Friday and we've had her 2 weeks yesterday. Aside from weekends (when DH is home) she's being doing really really well. She's much more settled and the routine is coming together nicely. I think adding it the walks is going to be awesome. Just enough to tire her out hopefully. Initially through the mental stimulation and then through exercise when she gets the hang of it. Thats the hope anyway! Ha ha
