Goodish night last night Boris cried for 10mins at bed time 11.30 then only woke up because of the kids at 6am:) Now Im getting worried about house training. We are taking him out every hour, after meals, before going to sleep and waking up. We praise him outside but he is still having a number of accidents inside. He has pads to wee on in the night and since I introducted these hes been sleeping through, so I really dont want to stop this. Does it just happen, cant remember how long it took the dog I had as a child. Dam those puppy books and all the confusing advice, its all so different. I keep thinking to myself 'millions of dogs have been raised before crates, before pup pads, before the TV programmes and books, I can do it'.0

Ha ha ha. Our girl is pretty good with the house training thing. She cries to wake us up because she's in a crate at night so no puppy pads!! I'd rather her do this till she can hold herself all night - even if it is tiring. She's being really good though and is happy to pop back into bed afterwards. We've had a couple of accidents wee wise today because we weren't paying her enough attention when she tried telling us with her funny walk. Wish she's just say "Oi, let me out!" Ha ha.
Anyway, she's pooping outside which is the main thing. I think we just have to wait for their little bodies to develop enough and just keep doing what we are doing in the mean time.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Awwww...soo cute. I've had so much fun this evening. I gave her a wash. I didn't give her a bath or anything but she's not been cleaning her belly or back legs properly and they were a bit mucky. So I got some luke warm water and a flannel and got to work. She looked so pathetic but totally took it well. She looks much better. Will probably give her another one later in the week to finish her off...I didn't want to over do her patience.
Anyway, she told me she'd had enough by picking up the tub of water and tipping it over my feet!!! Ha ha ha. She then sat there wagging her tail looking VERY proud of herself. I was most amused.

Right, think we might need a trip to the vets. She seems to have a discharge coming from her lady bits. I noticed it last night for the first time but thought nothing of it. But she's had some tonight as well and seems to be quite preoccupied with licking her lady bits! So I think she might have a yeast infection or something. Fingers crossed I'm just being an anxious mummy. I'll wait till the morning and then give the vets a call. Lets see how we get on!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Oh shes soooooooooooo cute:) Just screams cuddle me! Bless her hope shes ok when you take her to the vets tomorrow. Boris is settling down a bit, we've had 3 good nights so fingers crossed. Today he went out to play in the garden by himself for the first time. I think hes going to be a good dog and he isnt to bad at the moment when hes so young and everything is so confusing for him.0

I'm sure she'll be fine. It doesn't seem to be bothering her any, she's eating, drinking, playing, snoring and toileting at a normal rate for her. So I'm not too concerned at the minute. I just don't want anything to take hold and do her any damage. She's snoring away at the minute and Im dying to role her over and look at her bits. That's just not normal is it! You finally got one
You just seem to be having "normal" puppy problems, she looks to be doing well! Congratulations.
Oh, He says hi to the little DDBAlways try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -

FINALLY did and couldn't be happier! :j She's beautiful and such a good girl. We just got back from the vets...£31.23 less and hopefully I'll have a happy puppy.
To be fair she's not unhappy...it's just me. The vet thinks she's got juvenile vaginitis. So she's got some antibiotics and we've had to put the vaccination back until Tuesday! Gutted. I was well looking forward to some walks at the weekend. Oh and she has broken her tooth...but apparently thats fine for now...just got to hope it drops out when the adult teeth come through.
Still, she'll love it all the more when she finally gets out there.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
