I'm waiting to go home and check on pup. My mum is there though so I'm assuming all is well. She was sick twice yesterday night and once again this morning when she got up. She's also been off her food. Although, this morning after being sick she seemed up perk right up and ate all her breakfast and had a mad half hour.

If it happens again though I think we might need to go to the vets (EDIT: I pulled some plastic out of her bum on Friday night - I think it was part of her puppy pad). I'm on pins at the minute. I'd never forgive myself if something happened to her. I hope I'm not just being neurotic. As for the house training...we seem to be doing well. The last accident we had was on Sunday. :D She is still waking me up between 5 and half past of a morning though. I don't mind because she's peeing and then settling back down again for another hour - then it's me waking her up!!

Walks are still hit and miss depending on who is about. She likes them but is very nervous. It doesn't help that people seem not to ask if they can approach either (even if she backs off and runs behind me). I've had to be quite firm with a few different people now! Still no nice dogs about...in fact, yesterday there were NO dogs about. It's nuts...normally they are everywhere round where I live.

Just thought I'd give you an update on Belle. Turns out she'd been stung by a wasp and had a bit of a reaction as a result...basically that was what was making her sick! So all is well now. She's growing FAST...she's huge. She's also got an ever increasing healthy appetite and is eating me out of house and home and yet still looks very slim. I've taken to calling her tubs which people give me funny looks about given she looks so slim.

She's really good with the house training now at home, but is a little hit and miss down in Wales. I think it's just because I'm so good at reading her body language here, but am only just getting used to it there. She's also doing much better on the sleep front. We get up about 5.30 am for a pee but then she's happy to trot herself back to bed until I'm ready for work. Although it is the holidays now so I decided to leave her a bit longer today and we slept until 7.45 am! Bliss! :D

She is really enjoying her walks although is still a little people shy - but is getting better and started stalking people round pets a home on Monday!! She jumped on a little girls lap for a cuddle which I was surprised about. Good job this little girl was robust! Ha ha. Anyhoo, still not much luck on the dog front...they are either not good with other dogs or terrified of other dogs. I honestly didn't realise how neurotic the dog nation round here is. Grrr.
