Hello folks.

If I had had any time I would have posted this week mind you it would have only been to moan, it has been a scary week, the boss (short man sydrome a go go) has been awful. running checks that would be done in the middle of the term and I have come up short according to him. Its hard cos if he was a nice friendly genuine guy I would work harder and do better but as he is a back stabbing !!!!!! I don't find him terribly motivating, plus the whole moving the goalposts thing is makes it rather impossible. Anyhow suffice to say I am going to have to get my !!!! together in a big way in the next five weeks since he is gunning for me now....sorry did I say now? I meant again.

It was quite amusing really cos he was obviously waiting for me to blow my stack (not that I ever have) but I just stayed calm and brought the meeting to a close. I wish I could explain here but the details are so specific that knowing my luck some one would find me and I would be in !!!! even more. My "friend" !!!!ed me off some more today, God she is so stupid and self righteous, she has this obssession with being positive and I just think it is so tactless when frankly lots of !!!!!! things are happening to people and they need support and a listening ear not turn your frown upside down nonsense, she just by passes feelings (and then gets the hump when no-one talks to her) and insists on ending on positive - I know I sound negative but honestly when people are frightened and feeling alone I don't think cheesy quotes really cut it. I think they need to have their feelings validated, practical help offered and not to be told they are part of the problem (said to a sobbing woman - don't you think it would be better if you stopped crying all the time).

Any how I have a plan, right now I just want to not think about work and get ready for my friend's wedding and relish being on holiday and free of it all.

I have a horrible sore throat and feel like !!!! so am in tonight sitting still watching tv reading my new book.

buffy i can totally see where your coming from ... i like to think of myself as a kinda positive person but sometimes !!!!!! happens ... calling it !!!!!! can make all the difference ... saying oh dont you worry life is wonderful heres a hug makes me want to punch some people in the face ( honest i am not normally violent) and i find it sooooo false ... i do actully visualise me punching some of these people in the face and saying hey i feel so much better thankyou ... dont you just feel life is great right now ... arrrggghhhh

ohh i do have a violent streak in me

I have a fabulous time at the wedding, this is going to sound AWFUL but I really liked having male company, it was nice to be looked at - see I said it would sound awful! They were rugby players so sexy and so much fun............*drifts off to a fantasy, a very detailed fantasy* and I am back in the room!

Any how, there was one guy I will definitely keep an eye out for him again he was lovely and friendly sadly nothing happened, he got lost on the way back to the hotel bar very sad......

there are more thoughts on various things but I have dinner and I can't stop sneezing!

there is nothing wrong with male company ... i often prefer it myself .... not the whole flirting bit as i am happily married ... but i find it so relaxing ... when i have been with some female friends its like a competition ... i do not give one jot when so and so got her hairi done ... i dont care if so and so has put on /lost weight ... i couldnt even begin to think if someone looked like mutton dressed as lamb ... i'm more into so what are you doing kinda conversations ... not that all women do that though ... just seems to be the ones i tend to meet at various public functions ... which is why i rarely go to any lol

I am often to be found with the guys complaining about the girls- not sure it does me any favours but i have snared one or two gentleman with this [STRIKE]ploy[/STRIKE] attitude!!!
Now Buffy dear- is this incentive to think about getting yourself a man-friend...??? lol!:D

Oh Ziggles I SO want a man friend..............................I shall ask the universe a la the Secret. It was interesting tho, cos one guy was definitely interested and at the slow dance I did my automatic thing of going to get a drink and my friend ended up dancing with him- he looked well confused as we had been dancing (well i had been dancing - he had been mesmerised by my assets;) )

Now every since my friend set the date I had been day dreaming about meeting a guy with a good job who was nice and friendly and liked to dance, however all the time I was feeling that actually I wasn't good enough and wouldn't fit in and well that is exactly what happened - don't get me wrong no- one was horrible to me - all really nice but it was fairly obvious that I wasn't available (even to me) and I was to be looked after in a how can I put this........ as if I were a sister? except for the cute guy, we did dance again by the way but he got in a different cab and I never saw him again, whilst we were waiting he gave me his jacket and was generally sweet - I suspect he was just after sex tbh but I always think that. I am considering a new approach to men tho, maybe I should ask the universe for a good man who loves me and by good I mean kind, funny and thoughtful, I would also like him to be intelligent and want to look after me.

I am slowly being convinced by the idea of a positive attitude, why shouldn't i have a good bloke in my life? There is no reason why relationships have to be so hard.
