Ok so I found out that if I sand it prime and then paint it with at least two coats I should be ok. I also found a perfect size/shape coffee table which has good reviews but is a little expensive.....plus a dvd rack thing which I do need. total cost 71.98 plus 5.95 delivery...........

I also want to paint the shelves white (plain wood looks lovely but is now very dirty) and put up some extra brackets. Plus I really need to get new shelves for the cupboard in the wall. The sides are crumbling and to be honest it needs plastering. Its just what to do first. I am going to have to put the Guinea pigs somewhere too during all the painting and moving............

I am off to have tea and watch an episode of charmed. I wish I lived in their house!

Hi buffy, nice to see you thinking outside the box ... re the facebook i doubt a guy would class it as stalking you can send a message without adding him and just say thanks for a fun night you then leave the ball in his court he may choose to add you or he may respond but thats the beauty of todays technology we can secretly stalk lol and gaze at pics and no one is none the wiser lol lol lol xxx

I am really too shy for the facebook message. And I think the bride would kill me.

Pooky said I could paint the desk and she makes nice stuff so I shall go with her expertise. In order to have somewhere to put the Gps need to tackle the conservatory first.

Which means all my school stuff need to be sorted out. tomorrow I have a driving lesson and then I will make a start. finish at the weekend. then start on my room and the bathroom next week.

I really need a shower.

Hi Buffy, just checking in to see how you're doing.

Hope you have a better run with the 2nd assignment - i was never good at that stuff. I'm also good at procrastinating so i'm impressed with what you've managed to achieve with your lists, even if you're not. I don't have enough items to make a list and i'm not even achieving those.

Can't comment on the facebook thingy - never use it myself. Not going to comment about your assets either - i wouldn't dare!

Well I got up to have a shower after feeling so awful all day and promptly went very giddy......so it is a stinky Buffy who greets you tonight.

I have spent all day in bed not worrying about ANYTHING. Apart from my tax which I suspect is a problem...........ho hum.

Its been rather nice to be completely lazy. I don't feel great physically but head wise I feel very calm.

so I am away to bed, once I have fed the guinea pigs.....

Right my driving lesson went well and I have cleaned out one fish tank.

Most of the fish from the main tanks have died, I was rather meanly waiting for them to pop off, I know that sounds awful but they seem to have an illness I can't cure. My original plan was to move the remaining fish to one tank, restart the other one with new fish/filter etc.

However I was running three fish tanks. I love them but this would be the ideal time to down size.............

Positives

less fish tanks to clean
more room in my room

Negatives

My goldfish wouldn't be in a great position( am building a pond)
I wouldn't have a fish tank in my room
the remaining tropical fish tank would be small and boring.
It would waste the third tank no resale value, and I would want more fish again............

I could declutter properly and have more room.............

off to eat lunch.
