Ok this is a bit of an experiment as I haven't yet got the hang of quoting so this could go horribly wrong.

I am however tired of defending myself to one particular friend - who again tonight was trying with the best will in the world to get me to move out.

Friends are not people who you have to defend yourselves to. Friends are people who listen, love and support without prejudice.

I'm sorry you're feeling unwell. I have had an extended period of illness which has hinged on exhaustion as one of the main symptoms so I really empathise. If you want to personal message me I'd be happy to offer support.

I've only read through part of your diary and I am so far overwhelmed at the amount you have managed to reduce your debt. That makes you a hero to me! Since 2007 I haven't managed to reduce my debt at all and there is part of me that believes I never will. It isn't an accident that you've achieved so much!

Whilst I understand what you are saying to some extent. About doing more in your actual life to maintain social contacts etc, this is one place you can vent all the stuff you have no outlet for in real life.
