Buffy, I have an ongoing bathroom project. Had new bathroom last November, once fitted I prompty painted it with incorrect type of paint, tis now peeling away. Got the right paint 2 months ago..need I say anymore ?

my affair with the Tescos CC has got me in to trouble.............

I have spent 600 pounds on it this past month. 600 pounds. It is partly Union fees, meals out, wedding expenses, and my complete LACK of organisation.

I "forgot" about dress one being on the CC, also put all my e bay spends, dinners, drinks,theory test, amazon, book shopping, etc etc etc.... on there. technically I could pay it off but would be in minus figures cos of driving lessons within about a week. I have taken my foot completely off the peddle this last few months and just feel really stupid.

Any how enough negativity already.

I applied for and got a 0% card through quid co. I will suck it up and I will do better.

Monday afternoon will be sort out money day.

Wow well done on the confession but less beating ups, we all need to spend sometimes life does get in the way when you are debt bustying or debt busting gets in the way of life lol .... happy bathroom diy day ... im doing diy at home but doing it in stages its a pain but slow but sure etc etc....

Well i have a bit of an argh moment 2.5 years ago i let a company called bank smart reclaim my bank charges ... i never got my bank charges back and its still ongoing, with no change apart from the commisson charge ... i paniced afted reading bad press and asked what the cost would be if i chose to cancel well its £423 :O:O It is in the contract about paying so i cant get out of it but i feel such an idiot now i could cry... i dare not cancel incase that price increases and my charges never come back to me ... besides i recieved a letter saying halifax were closing the case my charges were fair and i figured ok il leave it at that ... well now my dilema is i have to pay them either way !! but im worried if i cancel they will threaten me to pay it all off asap when i could manage small chunks i am so bloody mad at myself

On a positive my car passed mot with flying colours when i thought it would not

OMG and if by a stroke of luck and worry they allow you to pay over 12 months ! im just seeing if they charge extra for this... wow buffy send your mum out for the day work like a fly lady and decorate bathroom and if she doesnt like it she will have to repaint it back not you lol x

Right young lady - I have procrastinated enough!

My challenge to you is...

Let's declutter and earn back the money from our 'stuff' to make up the £500 for me and £600 that went on the CC.

It starts Monday ... ARe you in?

My other challenge to you is for you to set yourself a realistic budget for when you start School again - you need to build in some 'fun and spending' money but other than that it will be focussed on repaying the debt. I know you haven't wanted to publish it on here. Why don't I pm you my email address and I will have a look and comment. In return you could do the same for me!

Ok, so the bathroom didn't happen, My sister always visits and after my money stuff this morning I was too late to start before she arrived, I tidied my room a bit found some stuff to list, cleaned out my fish tanks (x2) researched the new stock for one(!) and watched the new occupants of the other. I also exercised and cuddled the guinea pigs and took my e bay photos. Oh and moved some piles.............I also watched Twlight!

I could make excuses but the bottom line is today I was lazy. I am behaving like a spoilt child looking for excuses and reasons. I resist being a grown up so much of time and in the end the only person who suffers is me.

Its at times like these I remember Linda's sig - In the end the race is long and only with yourself.

I know - if i am honest, that things here won't change till I move out. I have such mixed feelings about that!


Any how tomorrow is another day. Now I shall eat ice cream!

Hi buffy, always nice to have a visit from family ... i have done tip runs and found some bits i want to buy :O ah ah .. anyway off to sleeps early rise tomorrow got lots to contend with x

hiya!
After 'listening' to you guys talk about your bathrooms- i at approximately 5.02pm today, decided to attack the bath sel thing that i suspect is causing the damp-ish smell in the bathroom- and removed it.
I am now waiting for the grout stuff to dry before i do the actual seal tomorrow before going out for the day!:j:j:j
Thank you ladies...so you see if I can do it...anyone can!!:D (also proves that if you procrastinate long enough you'll eventually get bored of yourself and do the damn thing! )

Buffy i feel you on the moving out thing- i have one foot in and one foot out (in my mind of course). Do the best you can for now while that situation matures and becomes a proper plan/reality
I've also had an ice-cream and now to watch telly in bed.
Tomorrow's another day for sure!

Ziggles great news on the bathroom work , its amazing what one can do with some focus and determination ..... buffy why not just tidy the rooms, and save your money for your own home .... make your bedroom your haven and let the rest do as it pleases.... im unclear on teh living situation anyway so i could be talking trash :P about leaving rooms..... il be honest i hate decorating i lucklily have a rel who is a painter and decorator its just not my thing i like to look and declutter but painting arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh its so demoralising when you reach the last wall for me lol good night girls xxxx
