Hi buffy
you do know you can get medication from the doctor to prevent migraines don't you?
REf the masters, might be worth seeing if it is transferable, ie if you moved jobs you could do it with your new employer....
ref the driving. well done on this. You seem so much more positive about them than you were last time. WELL DONE.
Glad to see you completed one task. A clean bathroom is always nice to come into in the morning. Can set you up for the day.
Did you also find that you had enough products so that you didn't need to buy any for a year (like i did:o). I kept on finding conditioner on offer, so bought it. Anyway I haven't had to buy any this year, because I had sooo much of it lol. And also shower gel. I have to keep on telling myself that no I don't need any more even if it is only $2 or so....lol
take care and keep going. I hope the migraines get better, have you also ruled out cheese as your trigger? For me it was strong cheddar that got me every time, as well as red wine. I trust your mum doesn't put red wine in the cooking, because for me i get a thick head with red wine in cooking too....
hugs
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

No not yet - I had to do the celling, which was basically me following myself around filling in "gaps" which turned out to be shadows!!!
I am about to go back up but am preparing myself for the smell.
I was not made to decorate!!

Buffy what colours the ceiling ? I use that dulux white paint, but it goes on pink so you can see where you're at. Turns brilliant white as it dries.
I have taken all required paints to upstairs landing ready for weekend.DC.

I used bathroom paint, white for the celling and pink for the walls. The celling looks ok now and the walls look pretty good. I finished about 9.30. I can't believe it has taken so long but I guess the sanding, the pollyfilla, the painting once, more sanding, more polly filla and leaving it to dry(!) inbetween and then finally painting it today!
your pink paint sounds like it was made for me DC! would have been perfect.
tomorrow I have to do the shopping (£40 for two of us?) then its project bathroom ie put everything back having decluttered, it will be a sanctuary (she says through gritted teeth! )
and after that it will be my room.
In other news I sorted out my various bank accounts, I have a budget finally.
176 = driving lessons
200 = spending money (shopping, nights out, clothes, guinea pig food!)
I have also set up standing orders for fish/guinea pig expenses, Birthdays, I have a £25 a month for Christmas/Summer wages (basically 6 X25 for Summer to cover my missed 2nd job and then 6X25 for Christmas)and that has worked really well.
I have set up an automatic top up for my Oyster card, 40 quid a month in the budget for that plus 20 quid a month on Union fees in to a special savings account with some complicated interest rate malarkey
I have to make various phone calls to close accounts, get pin numbers and generally tidy up the money stuff. Ooo it turns out I have an Amex cashback card - who knew! but I MUST use it to avoid the dormacy fee........must remember to add that to the list.
enough ramblings....
see you tomorrow xxx

Morning Buffy, all that little small stuff you've acheived on the organisation front is priceless, less to worry about. It's the little things that make the big things happen. Congrats on the bathroom, I hope you get to enjoy a long soak, you certainly deserve it, my turn tomorrow.DC.

Hey Buffy
Great moves in taking control of those finances. Knowing where everything goes will really help!
