    Hi Buffy,

So sorry to hear you were unwell. It sounds like the trip to work has triggered things to make you unwell. Your freind is right - you do have to make peace with your decision to stay at work but you must also address the unrealistic workload! It's not that YOU are inefficient - it is just thatvthere is too much to do and you end up feeling a failure. That's not fair to you!

Anyway - I better just update my diary and head to bed. I am so tired!

Take care and rest to get rid of that migraine.

Stunning post migraine headache, met a lovely parent in Morrisons but nearly threw up over her I felt so awful. Eaten lunch now so feel a bit more human.

Luc - I have to prep for the new term and change a fair amount of stuff to fit in with the new way of doing stuff, 2nd job is tutoring. The only other job that has come up was 1hr45 minutes away - which I applied for but on the dummy run by train it took 2 and half hours, I just couldn't have got there on time so pulled out. I did get an interview tho so there is some hope, I just have to keep looking and once I pass my driving test I can apply further out. Meanwhile tho I have to cope with my current job better.

Had a good driving lesson mind you, interesting chat with driving instructor.

I can't type any more off to have a get rid of headache nap. I wish it would rain and thunder loads to clean everything, My head needs a clear out!

Hope you manage to clear your headache xx
  • Right, slept for hours - through the thunder storm and rain, woke up feeling much better.

Cooked diner - know most people do that every day, but I dont so for me it was an event! Mum liked it, we had a bit of "thing" about the kitchen. I threw away some veg and oh you know what life is too short! I must not be so quick to be offended........

Any how in a minute we will have tea and fruit cake - VERY good fruit cake my mum makes the best!

Re life the universe and everything?

well, I am going to finish the bathroom tomorrow and Friday Saturday and Sunday will be spent decluttering my room and the conservatory, painting the desk and my shelves and generally sorting out work and money stuff. I bought pencil cases today to do the money thing - driving lessons, travel, my spending money.

Then next week will be working and driving lessons in the morning and garden and shed in the afternoon. I can't afford a skip so the tip will be visited regularly.

This migraine really annoyed me, I haven't had any chocolate in over two months, yet still had two migraines, both at times of stress. No wine either - but I rarely drink it anyway. I have done all the giving up stuff before but I have had migraines for ten years now and they need to go!!! I just want to rule out chemical causes before I totally give in to the idea of it being stress.

I am going to give up chocolate till september maybe three months is the magic number!

I have read LOADS of self help books over the last few years and generally speaking they all get you to do the same thing - assess who you are and what your goals are. They then give you a framework to use to achieve your goals.

I think what I might do during the 3 days(!) is sort out the self help books and see what I can greenmet and what I could actually use. Maybe do a book a month? follow the ideas and see which one sticks.

I have also decided to visit the ex. I honestly not sure what it will lead to if anything but at worst it will give me a sense of closure and at best we might get back together ........either way I benefit.

Work wise........ ultimately I want to be a primary school teacher or specialist tutor for SEN kids or EBD kids. I need the masters I am doing and therefore I will stay in my current job for the next two years. I need to just suck it up pick the battles I can win and not make it easy for them to pick on me. end of.

I am now going to have tea and cake and watch the end of Ghost Whisperer........

Urg - if you are reading when do we e bay?

    Hey Buffy,

Looks like there's lots of thinking going on!

Re: eBay/amazon - let's start now! I am going to aim to list at least 10 things per week and this is week 1 for me! It's not a lot but I am having a bit of an issue about letting stuff go! I think I am going to follow Hypno's example to decluttering 10 things and get it out of the flat. I have ralised that I have a really irrational thing about having lots things around me and seem to just try to cram more into the spaces I have. Anyway enough of me Airing my issues on your thread. What goals are you going to set?
