Westley was off The Princess Bride. We love that film. I woke up this morning and the name Liston was in my head. I dont know if I`d call my son that though.Loving this site.:beer:0

round here Manchester way on it's the newish names like Tyler,Tyk, Ky, Toby, Alfie, Kaydie, etc that are popular (my mum works in a school so has mentioned a couple of times about names like this)
How on earth do you pronounce Tyk? Is is Tick or Tyke? Either way it's pretty dire, poor kid.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
If we have another he will be called Buster0

But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

Not read all the other posts but ones we had short listed for a boy were :-
Killian or Cillian
Casey
Draven
Malachi
As it was we ended up with a girl - Sadie !! If (big if) we ever had another and it was a boy we would go for one off this list.

I actually know a family whose kids are Teddy (aged 4), Percy (aged 2) and Wilfred (about 4 months)!!!!
If I was Wilfred, I'd be calling childline!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
My name is Naomi, not a problem now, but as a child I hated it.....nobody could pronounce it 40 years ago.
My EH and I took ages to decide our DD's name- Honor. She hates it but she says its because she also has a "stupid" surname, and tbh it is very unusual and difficult to say/spell!!:o
My son was easier, he was Henry from the moment we knew he was coming.
On occasion I have thought about what I would choose if I had another and have come up with Violet for a girl (obviously!) and Tudor for a boy, but its all for nought as I'm too old for all that nonsense now!! :eek:0
