We called our son Alistair. Took us ages as we didn't want anything common but not wacky either.

My son is called Jack - very common.

I wanted to call him Jackson with Jack for short but OH vetoed it, he's now decided he likes it and can't remember me ever suggesting it!

I like Layton, Sonnie, Jessy, Clayton, Bede, Jude, Dillon and Westley, what do you think of these names my wifey woman doesnt like any of them especially Jessy.

You can't go wrong with a good old English name like Norbert...... or Wilf......... maybe Harold at a push

Norbert is unusual I`ve only ever heard of it in the film Norbert.

You might not think it but Samuel is not very common .... especially if you don't shorten it.. actually I really like Wilf..
