We went with "Edward Joseph", and "Charlotte Elizabeth" for names.

Both names wont date with time, unlike some of the names shouted at the school gates..

I know it's a good Scottish name, but it will never overcome its Magic Roundabout connotations for me!! :rotfl:

Believe me it wasn't a lol when she told us this is what she wanted to call her baby if he was a boy. More like $@!&** bleep bleep bleep.
Mind you my great niece (torrins baby sister) is called Kapri and all I could think of was a Ford Capri and a Capri sonne drink. Exs friends called their daughter Coe Astra and another called their son Harley Marley so glad my son was born first ,but shamefully I have to admit that when I was pregnant with my twin boys I wanted to called them Brock and Lee :eek:they would never have lived that down if I had done so.
Paul Walker , in my dreams;)

I'm related by marriage (the child of my BIL's SIL) to a small boy named Maverick.

Totally unacceptable. And they named him that because his father's nickname is Goose

I named my daughter after my great aunt. Her name is Molly, with the middle name Elizabeth, so she has many options if she grows up and would like to be an Elizabeth or a variant of it. If we have a boy, he'll have my husband's grandfather's first name and I'll choose his middle name.

  • My boyfriend's name is Michael Richard, he likes it when he has stuff addressed to him using his initials because it reads "Mr MR" :)
