We're having number 2 next week and his granny named him on our wedding night in March (I was already 16 weeks), he is going to be Queuen Xavier...we ttc'd for two years so "Queue" seemed apt-and it's likely if his mates shorten it, it will be "Q"-which I can handle.

    Poor kid:eek:

My Granda was called Harry but his real name was Henry, strange. But I do like them both. As for Louie, I think of Louie Walsh or him of Pinapple dance studio`s to be fair he`s a funny entertainer but Im hoping my son will be chasing the girls in a few years. But then some people think Jesse is a bit girlie too.

If i'd had a boy, we would have called him Garion Conor.

Garion thats a new one. I quite like it, just had a little look at the meaning here it is. How is it pronounced....Gary-on.....Ga-ree-on...

The boy's name Garion \g(a)-rion\ is a variant of Garron (Irish, Gaelic), and the meaning of Garion is "gelding".
The baby name Garion sounds like Garon, Garin and Gurion. Other similar baby names are Darion, Garmon, Garson, Garton and Marion.

    We pronounce it Gary on.
Didn't know it actually appeared in baby books!
DH chose it from a series of books called "The Belgariad" by David Eddings, in which Garion is the central character.

I just put Jesse Finnigan into facebook and sure enough there is one living in Indianapolis. I sent him a message and asked him if he likes his name and he said he does, I also asked him if people take the micky out of his name and he said no most people think it`s kinda cool. But he is in America. But are we not just America but a couple of years behind. They had Macdonalds first and Coke (not the drug). He looks like a cool teen as well very Kurt Cobain. Decisions, Decisions.

I know there are a lot of baby name websites out there, but this one is pretty good as you can search on how popular a name is, what it means, whether it can be shortened, the letter it starts with, etc etc
