We have a Samuel and an Isaac.

Boys names are so hard! I had loads of names for a girl picked out and of course had no use for them...twice.

Our Isaac was going to be Joseph James till he came,it just didnt seem to fit so Isaac he is now.
  • mine are robert and Stanley

theres very few of those names about atm, but they arent "out there" crazy either!

My oldest boy is called Bevan - its a name I always liked and I read it in a book somewhere and it just stuck. ds2 is called Jamie. :)

If I were having a boy this time, we had planned to use Gethin or Tristan - but its a girl.... :D

  • What about calling him Jesse and then giving him a more ordinary middle name and then he can use that later at school if he prefers. That is what we did but our son loves his more unusual name.

My 4 year old is Lyle (no, not that one) and his second name is Davis.
We're having number 2 next week and his granny named him on our wedding night in March (I was already 16 weeks), he is going to be Queuen Xavier...we ttc'd for two years so "Queue" seemed apt-and it's likely if his mates shorten it, it will be "Q"-which I can handle.

One of my best friends has just had a son about 10 months ago. When I asked what they were going to call him they said Finlay. And I thought I didn`t like it. Well he has turned out to be so cute and tubby with the biggest smile and now the name seems so right. Hopefully if I call my son Jesse people who didn`t like it will grow to love it like I did with Finlay.......I hope.
    Loving this site.
