NAFFNAFF is a better name for the company "The company run by you" they call it, I switched over from 02 over 2 years ago and wish i had never bothered, it is an insult to an IPHONE putting a naff naff sim card in it, i had nothing but problems, you can't buy a goody bag between the hours of 8pm to 8am, you have to wait for goody bags to expire before you can get any extra data or anything. So what if 0800 numbers are free to call, the are 1,000's of phone boxes and house phones that are free to call 0800 number, they give you a stupid amount of texts, that no-one can use in a month, and half the numbers you can't call with your free minutes..Total waste of time, i had goody bags on my phone for over 2 years and never had any credit, so i couldn't text or call international!!! like in another post someone wrote, it is a Micky Mouse company, for the sake of an extra few pounds get with a company that people have heard of, you go ask for a top up in a shop & half the shops have never heard of NAFF NAFF...Anyone considering joing them, DON'T BOTHER stay well clear, and dont be fooled by the great offers they promise..it's total BS
I use a giffgaff sim in my Iphone 4s, I cut the sim card myself and not had any problems.
stupid amount of texts that you cant use?? Get a smaller goodybag or find some friends.
Also, just an idea, maybe ''half the shops have never heard of NAFF NAFF'' because its actually called GiffGaff.
GiffGaff is exactly what I needed, 250 minutes, unlimited internet + texts for just £10. No contract, Top up credit when you need it, Top up a goodybag when you need it, recommend a friend and they give you £5 credit, Unlimited free calls to other people on giffgaff, easy to use and as somebody else mentioned, a modern network.0 -

You have seem to miss out that you can earn payback each month that gets paid every 6 months for helping out on the forums!!!!!
in the last year i have got about £250 payback for doing very little on the forums so has paid for my £10 top up each month.
i have never had any problems with them at all.
So tell me what other network does payback? dont think you can.0 -
Top up with o2 vouchers. It is much easier than confusing the shop assistant asking for a giffgaff voucher.0

You can't call/text abroad because you never had any credit, not exactly GG fault is it, doesn't take much to topup an extra £5 for 1 month so you do have credit to call abroad, send mms,etc for things not included in your goody bag.
Many shops do sell Giffgaff topups if asked for correctly, if you cannot get a gg voucher you can use O2 voucher.
All I can say is I've use gg for only 3 months and so far have not had any problem,i admit others have and it seems if you are unfortunate enough to have a problem it can take a while to be sorted.0 -
Truly dreadful experience right from the start. First, I logged into their "Activate Card" site when my SIM arrived and it was in Chinese. Found an English one by surfing the web then it wouldn't accept the code they'd given me. In order to use the service I had to top up my calling credit - trusting them, I took out a monthly plan using my credit card: once they had my money they advised me that they provided no service in my area (the same address they'd sent the SIM to!) Tried to contact them but my (correct) password was refused. And they won't take telephone calls. My credit card company tells me they've had other "unusual" incidents with Giff-Gaff and promised me that if I'm not refunded in thirty days they plan to take the necessary action against them - but why do I have to go through all these hoops to get my money back when they're unable to provode a service? If you're not in a major city - be warned!!0

That is very very strange Chinese from a UK site suggests a fake site or hacked site .
Surf the web to get a sim again strange and not the normal method at all .
All i can say is sign up delivery of sim and activation and use since then plus contacts from Giffgaff has been excellent .

I'm not with giffgaff any longer but I have to say their service and reception even in the wilds of Somerset was great. Personally, I've found the newer networks like Giffgaff and Ovivo to be much better than the big networks.0

So you can't get an o2 service either then?
If I were that remote I think I would have checked before ordering a sim.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

I've just tried the address on the back of a GiffGaff pack, it would appear to be an English site.

They don't do monthly plans, only PAYG, do you mean you bought a 30 day bundle?
With reference to network coverage, GiffGaff runs on (and is part owned by) O2. Whatever other faults they might have, coverage when compared to the other networks isn't really one of them.
O2 is the new name for Cellnet, and probably offers more (or the same) rural coverage as any other network.====0 -
thinking of moving to giffgaff when my iphone 5 arrives, but both of those things seem to be hit and miss at the moment. I've checked 02's internet and service coverage and it would seem to be good in the areas I live in, why would people advise against it?0
