If we assume he's awake for 16 hours a day, that's around one every 2 minutes - continuously. Is that physically possible? - particularly since he'd presumably need to spend some time reading all the replies!
If you send a multi-part text to more than one person it's easy to send many text messages in one go. A friend of mine often sends me texts as long as essays rather than simply putting it in an email. If you find my post helpful please press the THANKS button.0 -

Crikey!!! RSI?
Usually thumbs don't get RSI so much as fingers to.
Interesting thing to note is how many of today's teenagers use their thumbs for tasks the older generation would use their finger for, such as turning on light switches.
I suspect a few generations down we'll have evolved massive thumbs, or something.0 -
Hi,
I have also been considering GiffGaff.
I have a PAYG iPhone on 02, I am on their £10 per month web and walk tariff, but as far as I can see, for £10 a month on GiffGaff I would also get some free calls.
Is the GiffGaff service as good as the regulular 02 service?
What is 'goodybag'? Is this included automatically when I top up £10 per month?0 -
For £10, each month you can buy a £10 goodybag. This currently offers you 250 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited data. Their definition of unlimited is truly unlimited (excluding any tethering)
IMO you can't do better.
giffgaff is owned by telefonica (who own O2) so all calls are over the O2 network. Basically if you've got no problems with O2 network/signal then you shouldn't have any issues with giffgaff either.0 -

Service is good in my area. you need to find out how good is O2 coverage in your area.
Goodybag is basically a pay month (no contract) tariff. You can switch to PAYG when your goodybag expires if you wish, or upgrade or downgrade.
GiffGaff is very flexible and best of all no contracts.

Thanks pardal51 and Tony5101,
One more question,
I have built up a credit of over £70 on my 02 PAYG web and walk (as I had to top up every month and only really use the texts and web)
Is there any way I can get any of this money back? It would be a shame to lose it.0 -

I don't know for definate, but I would assume probably not - simply beacause you've had a service in the form of the texts, which you got as a consequence of topping up etc...
Why not just not top-up for a while, and run your credit down? It's money that you've effectively already spent anyway - so in reality it isn't actually costing you anything.0 -
Thanks, but would like to try GiffGaff, the £70 credit is mine though, there must be some way I can spend it/cash it.0

Maybe you want to spend the credit before (if) migrating to GiffGaff so you don't lose your money.
