A goody bag say for £10 ,lasts for 30 days gives at the moment 250 uk mins/utd texts/utd internet. After 30 days if you wanted another goodybag for the next 30 days just buy one again. You are not tied into a contract or anything. You can also have one active goodybag and one queued(buy it while your current one is running)and when your active one finishes- the queued one kicks in.
Think of it just as a monthly optional add on like other pay as you go networks.
Hope this helps....Neil0 -
I've contacted several agents (many other members have posted with the same experience) which was a complete waste of time.
I'm sure most people understand if there are problems but to ignore people and not put right any wrongs is appalling. Taking peoples money with nothing in return is totally unacceptable.0 -
I've suggested that the people who have lost out, take GiffGaff to court by uniting together to bring a class action. Is there anyone who can advise on how we would get the wheels in motion to do this.
Does anyone know how to get this process started or can anyone point me in the right direction. I'm quite happy to devote my time setting up a basic forum or whatever it takes to get this underway.
Any advise welcome.0 -

ive been with GG for a few weeks now and have never had any problems with them.
All companys have some sort of problems from time to time and GG will do too.
i love them so much that i have just signed up my 2 sons as well.0 -
So my Orange contract is expiring soon and I have no desire to upgrade my N900, instead I'm looking for a cheaper deal.
I don't do many calls or texts but I do use a lot of data, so Giffgaff's £10 goodybag option looked like a decent deal, however the lack of tethering puts me off a little.
Their forums seem nice and helpful, though maybe a little too nice and helpful, like walking into the premises of some nutty religious cult where the zealots offer you a free personality test to indoctrinate you, I also received a number of PMs with referral links for a free SIM card, which was a little off putting.
Are there any similar plans out there that offer at least 1GB per month and ideally allow tethering?0 -
Three mobile. It has I'm sure 1 or 2gb allowance and you can tether.

Says you can't tether in the small print, and only 1gb
Plus the calling rates are extortionate outside your minutes, and presumably for 08** numbers. 30p/minute.0 -

Who? Giffgaff or 3?
I'm curious as my Giffgaff sim arrives tomorrow. Can i set something up so that is automatically applies a goody bag to my account every month?0
