Hi again everyone,
Just popping back thru as i managed to get on a friends computer to say a BIG thank you again to everyone for their amazing ideas, advice and continuing support!
Myself and OH are much stronger as a couple after going out and foraging etc and pulling ourselves through this tough time, but we really could never have done it without the fantastic support of you guys!
Thanks again to every single person who has posted kind messages and been there throughout our wee struggle!

Well done lilmissking88, I read this thread and honestly felt so humbled....it must have taken real courage to post on here like that and I am so glad you and OH are sorted, if only in the short term. Iceland or a similar freezer centre may be worth a look if you can muster up about £4, you can get a couple of bags of frozen economy sausages, and some equivelent of Smash instant mash, and some economy gravy granuals, and that would see you through a good few weeks teas. I know it's £4 you didn't have but in all honesty I would so send you a tenner if it wasn't against forum rules. Charity begins at home......if we all did our bit for a fellow neighbour this world would be a far better place. Nobody would go hungry round my house, I am way too soft, nobody leaves mine without a feed

Almost debt free feeling, priceless.
Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.0
